The Newland Hall Country Estate is situated 4 miles west of Chelmsford, Essex. It consists of a large picturesque 15th century Tudor Manor House with a moat, beautiful gardens and over 100 acres of grass and woodland with four lakes surrounded by unspoilt countryside. Recently fully refurbished Newland Hall is a premier wedding venue catering for exclusive wedding ceremonies and receptions. Take your marriage vows in our beautiful Henry VIII Room, with its original hand carved Tudor beams, superb decoration and delightful views overlooking the beautiful gardens. Or, if you prefer, in our custom built Gazebo – the nearest you can get to getting married outside! After the ceremony you may wish to enjoy reception drinks and canapés on the lawn whilst listening to a string quartet before receiving your guests into the marquee.

Even our staff and suppliers will use a seperate driveway, car park and entrance, ensuring 100% exclusivity. Customisation Unlike other venues we do not expect you to Staffing At Newland Hall all of our staff are of an extremely high standard and will be in uniform. Our banquet manager has over 25 years experience in organising and running major functions of all types. Due to the numerous options and various approaches to weddings at Newland Hall, it is very difficult for us to provide specific pricing information at this stage.       .......worthy of a Michelin Star.........
      We just wanted to say what a fantastic day we had, thank you so much to you and all the staff at Newland Hall for ensuring our day ran smoothly. It seems that nothing was too much trouble, even with the last minute seating glitches and hungry musicians! The food was fantastic and the service was worthy of a Michelin Star restaurant. (There was a 2 Michelin star chef as a guest and he said the food was very good). It was lovely to not worry about packing up at the end as you did all of that for us including all 14 centrepieces being put in a taxi by you at the end! The attention to detail by all at Newland Hall is much appreciated and we have no hesitation in recommending you in the future. Thank you so much Dionne and Tony

      Easter Wedding
      I have just got married at Newland this sunday 12th easter sunday 2009 and can honestly say from the day we started planning till the moment we left the venue, everything was perfect thanks to all staff and our cooridnator Chloe. Nothing was too much trouble and thanks to Chloe I went from the most stressed bride ever to the most excited. She delivered a first class service and made me feel like our wedding was the only one she was coordinating. The venue is magical, the service and food outstanding and the memories everlasting. I would recommend Newland to any bride to be in a heart beat! Both my husband and I had to get that in could not fault anything.

      DO NOT HESITATE TO BOOK NEWLAND HALL
      My Niece had her wedding here in December.It KNOCKED SPOTS OFF any other Essex venue I have been to. From the moment I arrived until I left IT WAS FAULTLESS !!!!! & please believe me, if I had ANY sort of grouch THEY WOULD HAVE KNOWN ABOUT IT !! I NEVER complained once,WELL DONE NEWLANDS!

      Exceeded our expectations - an absolutely perfect wedding venue
      After searching most of Essex for our perfect wedding venue - we found Newland Hall. Our wedding day was amazing thanks to Lucy our co-ordinator - she was a true professional who made the day a great success! All our guests are still raving about the venue, staff, service & food - OUTSTANDING - I'd have no hesitation in recommending Newland Hall to any bride-to-be!! My day was perfect just like the venue x

      Best day of our lives.....wouldn't have changed a thing!!
      Newland Hall was a fantastic venue and a real find after searching all over Essex for a suitable venue to meet our reqs for numbers & budget. We had a brilliant day, not a thing went wrong and it was with special thanks to all the staff but particularly the hard work by Maxine and Lucy to make it perfect.

      My Wedding, My Way- fantastic
      This venue was beautiful, where nothing is too much trouble to make it the best day of your life. Chloe George is outstanding as a co-ordinator and they were so flexible and helpful. The food was superb and plentiful.The serving staff very professional and really friendly. I had the most wonderful day at the most wonderful location.

      Outstanding Day - Wish I could do it all again!!
      Found the people at the venue really helpful and friendly. They were all very accommodating and did as much as they could for me. The ONLY downside was that my husband wanted to let off fireworks for me when we left and we were not allowed to do it due to safety reasons which was a shame but of course understandable. All in all the best day of my life!!

      Couldn't of made it more special if they tried
      Every member of staff was amazing. It rained continually but this didn't affect the day at all. The venue, the surrounding, the food was superb. Highly recommended. You can't go wrong.
