Milwards House is a historic wedding venue located in Lewes, in the East Sussex region of England. The stunning countryside estate dates back to the 16th century and boasts exquisite gardens and architecture. It neighbours Sussex Downs and has nearby accommodations for your out-of-town guests.
Facilities and Capacity
Milwards House is surrounded by 150 acres of glorious lawns, gardens, and a picturesque lake. After saying 'I do' beneath their rose arbour, join your guests on the terrace overlooking the grounds and toast to a lifetime of happiness. Outdoor celebrations of up to 200 people are held in the lakeside marquee, featuring stone flooring, heated interiors, and plenty of natural light from its windows. If you prefer the vintage charm of the building's interiors, The coach house can accommodate ceremonies of up to 60 guests. Its vaulted ceilings and exposed beams make for a rustic, barn-style setting. The entrance hall is ideal for a photo session, complete with stained glass windows and an elegant staircase.
