Thank you for your interest in The Mercure Parkside Hotel as a venue for your forthcoming Wedding Reception. The Hotel was built in 1870 as a manor house and has since undergone a major refurbishment. The Orchard Suite is our main banqueting room leading out onto our Gardens, seating a maximum of 110 guests for a sit down wedding breakfast. In the evening, we can cater for 160 guests with The Orcahrd Suite containing its own dance floor and private bar facility. Our 5 acres of grounds offer the perfect location for your photographs, with landscaped gardens and views of the picturesque Ouzel Valley beyond. We offer set Wedding Breakfast packages, but also pride ourselves on the individual service and options we can offer - from a traditional sit down meal to an 'al frescoe' BBQ or Hog Roast.We really believe we offer something unique and special in the local area - small, intimate, individual and full of atmosphere, yet professional at the same time.       Sarah, We just wanted to drop you both an email to thank you for arranging such a wonderful wedding reception for us on 1st July.  Everything at Parkside was faultless.  The room was stunning, the food was gorgeous and the staff could not have been more helpful.  Many of our guests have commented on how lovely the hotel was and how helpful and courteous the staff were.  Please extend our thanks to Chef too.       Just a note to say thanks very much for all your organisation and support for our wedding day a the Parkside on the 24th June. The last few months flew by and without your help we would of forgotten some intitial details. The meal was great as were the staff, all guests commented on the high quality of food.

      A Big Thank you .....
      To Sarah,Sam and the rest of Parkside for making our wedding day so special!!!!!!  We were really impressed by the way that the whole day went so seamlessly - and we received many compliments on the hotel, and the staff throughout the whole day!  Even the weather was on our side!!!!!!!!!  We are now looking forward to our honeymoon to Sri Lanka, we are flying out tomorrow, but couldn''t leave without expressing our gratitude for all of your help on the day, and also in the months leading up to it!!!!
