Perfect Day
I just want to say a massive thank you to all of the staff at Newton Park for ensuring our day went perfectly. Special thanks to the following:- - Emma for helping us in with the car load of wedding gear on the Friday night & sorting out some very much needed drinks! - Nigel & James for setting up the room on each occasion and especially to Nigel for loaning me £1 so I could pay for the additional wedding certificate! - Tom was absolutely fantastic and is a definite for any couple getting married. And of course to Michelle & Jenny, who dealt with every one of my trillion emails! We had a perfect day and would not have change a thing. Please pass on my email to your manager and Mercure as I really cannot thank everyone enough.

The Consummate Professional
Now that we have returned from our honeymoon and had time for reflection, we wish to express our sincere thanks to yourself and all the team for making our special day, extra special. From all the preparation in the preceding months to laying the room on the previous night and the attentive work throughout our day, it was all superb. May we also give special thanks to Nigel, who ensured everything ran smoothly and showed a level of care and attention that was very much appreciated, the consummate professional.

A Credit to the Hotel
I cannot praise the staff at Newton Park Hotel enough for their efforts on our wedding day. Our guests were particularly impressed with the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet, as well as the hotel grounds, which we made full use of having such amazing weather. I want to say a huge thanks to the Wedding Coordinator Jenny Scanlon, she was the first person we met at the hotel when we were deciding on our venue. She was upbeat, and enthusiastic, and helped me through the entire planning process. She would always reply to my emails with the same excitement and enthusiasm, and she is a credit to Newton Park.

Perfect from Start to Finish
We thoroughly enjoyed the party at your hotel on Sunday thank-you! Everyone commented on how lovely the food was, it was really tasty and a lovely selection. Please pass on our thanks to all the staff, unfortunately I didn't note any names but all staff were lovely and friendly and efficient, not forgetting those behind the scenes who produced all the great food and set the room up and everything else that goes on in preparation. Thank-you to you also for organising the event and accomodating all our requests and changes etc. it was a pleasure to plan the event with the help of such a great team.

We recently had the pleasure in getting married at Newton Park, Burton-upon-Trent in May 2011. We cannot tell you what a superb day we and all our guests had. Firstly in regards to your staff, before the wedding and all the organisation involved in this was Kate in your Wedding and Events Department. Kate was a great help, always helpful, accommodating and efficient. There was nothing that she didn't know or couldn't answer and made everything seem effortless in the planning stages. Secondly all of your staff on the day were polite, friendly and again very efficient in the background of the day. I must add that we didn't expect Nigel on our day, and without him we would have been lost! Nigel made everything run smoothly, but it was the small unexpected gestures that were lovely....from him carrying the train of my dress, helping the photographer get every small detail right for the photographs, to ensuring all the guests were happy. The meal itself was beautiful, we can't tell you how many of our guests commented on the day and since then about how delicious it was. Throughout the whole day we were made to feel very special, and would readily recommend the venue to any of our family and friends. All we can say is a huge thank-you, and I ask that you pass on our thanks to all of your staff but especially to Kate and Nigel.

I just wanted to send you both a little note to say thank you very much for all of your help and support prior the wedding. Without your help I think I would have gone a bit crazy! As it was the day seemed to go beautifully for everyone. The weather was excellent and everyone complimented us on our choice of venue. Tom was fantastic and I am happily recommending him to everyone who even remotely mentions marriage!! Thanks again for your help and guidance.

Fantastic Wedding
I just wanted to contact you to tell you how wonderful the wedding was and what a fantastic time we all had. From the staff at the hotel (Karen and Sophie particularly come to mind but all the staff we had contact with were so warm and professional), to the rooms for us and our guests, the food and every other detail of that wonderful day. I know Robin and Lee were very happy and all the guests told us what a fun wedding it was. You have to admit, Robin and Lee are a darling, loving couple.
