Fantastic Venue!!
My husband and I got married and held our evening reception here on Saturday 3rd March. We had an amazing day! The venue has wonderful grounds and very impressive photo opportunities. The ceremony and reception rooms are perfect and worked really well with our theme and colour scheme. All the staff are very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The day went off without a hitch and we cannot find fault in anyway. The wedding breakfast was superb and there were lots of empty plates, so defiantly enjoyed all! Many guests chose to stay the night at the hotel and they offer a discount to wedding party members. The rooms were clean and comfortable and large enough to get ready in easily, and even a jacuzzi in the bridal suite! We had a day to remember and it is all due to The Manor House and it's impeccable staff! We will definatly be back to stay for a spa weekend!! X

Perfect wedding venue
We recently held our wedding reception here and cannot recommend it highly enough. The hotel itself is set in beautiful grounds and is a stunning building, with big airy reception rooms - plenty of opportunities for photos. We only had a small wedding breakfast, only 27 guests, with a much bigger evenning reception, 140 guests, but the hotel worked around this for us, giving us our wedding breakfast in the ceremony room and then the evening reception in the big reception room. We also used the ceremony room as a childrens' room in the evening, with drawing, games and DVDs to entertain them (a fantastic idea from the hotel wedding coordinator). The wedding coordinator (Becky) was fantastic and full of helpful advice. From day one she provided us with support and gave us plenty of helpful hints and tips when needed. Throughout the day the staff were professional, polite, friendly and there to help when needed. The food was delicious, with everyone receiving hot food that tasted as though it was made individually rather than en masse. All our guests had a comfortable stay and have commented on how accomodating the staff were during their stay. People who had the opportunity to use the pool and spa facilities seemed to enjoy the experience. On our wedding night we were given a room with a four poster bed, which was very comfortable and big enough for our two children to join us in it (they are 3 and 1). The room was well decorated with a jaccuzzi bath and all other facilities needed. Good breakfast buffet in the morning. We will be coming to stay again.

Professional, welcoming and affordable.
From the beginning of our preparations, the Manor House did everything to make the experience as smooth, convenient and painless as possible. Their Functions Manager was an excellent source of advice and remained calm throughout, even when we didn't. On the day the staff were extremely helpful and friendly, and all arrangements were handled perfectly. I would strongly recommend the Manor House to anyone planning a wedding in Guildford.

A lovely place, a marvellous day
My daughter got married in April 2011, we all had a very enjoyable day, the setting is gorgeous, the food was delicious, Paul (I don’t think I heard his surname) the Manager was superb keeping everything on track without being too pushy. The ceremony room and reception room are light, airy and roomy. We had 80 people and it did not feel crowded. The grounds are well-maintained making it very nice for photographs. A lovely place to get married. We even enjoyed a swim in the pool the following morning before leaving.

Our beautiful day ...
We had the wedding of our dreams just 2 weeks ago at the Manor House Hotel. Mos tof our guests stayed for the whole weekend with us and the staff couldn''t have been more welomeing and accommodating, no one wanted to go home! the day itself was stunning. The sun shone after weeks of wind and rain, the food and service was unfaultable and team treated everyone of my guests like a first. I just wish it wasn''t over so quickly. Thank you everyone at the Manor, we hope to come and visit again soon.

Fantastic venue with really great service
We had a fantastic day at the Manor House Hotel where the staff were so friendly and helpful and Lucy and Paul did a great job of helping us organise our day and making sure everything went smoothly apart from the weather which they couldn''t help! The venue is lovely with lots of great photo spots, the food was fantastic and all the guests had a great time - many stayed for a couple of nights and everybody was really happy with the hotel.

What an amazing day!!
I would advise this venue to anyone. The friendly, nothing''s too much approach from all the staff made us feel calm and relaxed and that me and my guests were in the best hands possible. The setting was perfect and without paying for exclusive use the venue was ours for the day. Thank you soo much to Lucy for all that you did and to Mel and the team for seeing everything through every step of the way.

Perfect in every way
Just got back from our honeymoon still on a high and wanted to say how fantastic and perfect our wedding day was at the Manor. Becky and Paul and all of their lovely team were so helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble. Everything was as we wanted including the weather. All of our guests have said waht a brilliant day they had with us and now I hear that one of my friends is planning her wedding at the hotel so we cannot wait to return for hers in the future. Thank you to all who made it so special.

Simply wonderful
We would just like to say how wonderful our duaghter Rebecca's was on Friday 5th Sept. What a great choice she and her husband made in choosing the Manor for their special day. All the staff were fantastic from the moment we arrived up until we departed. Have had high praise from all of our friends and relatives at how lovely the staff, food and service was. Nothing was too much trouble. We canot wait come back again and will be booking in for dinner in your restaurant. Cannot thank them enough for all they did. Highly remooment this venue to get married

Wonderful hotel, staff & service
Just like to say a big thank you to all the wonderful staff at the Manor House Hotel who helped at the wedding of our daughter Bella to Wesley on Saturday 13th Sept. The entire day was wonderful in every way and the service and food was faultless and extra special. Highly recommended and cannot thank the hotel enough for everything they did

Fantastic day
We held our wedding on 26th April and are just so happy with how the whole day went. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff on the day, they all made us feel so welcome. The food and service was fantastci. We highly recommend this venue to get married.

Amazing day
We held our wedding in May this year and cannot thank Becky, Paul and the rest of the staff who contributed to our day as it was so perfect. Becky liaised with my mum who took over most of the arrnagements. She managed to keep mum calm and stress free which was a big help to us. Everything was just as we had dreamed off and could not have asked for more. Thank you again to everyone who helped.
