Excellent wedding venue
Our thanks to Kay, Vorchek I hope that is spelt correctly and the team at Makeney Hall for making our daughter & son-in-laws wedding a very special occasion from start to finish. From the initial meetings last year, to the last drink in the early hours of the morning following the wedding, they were first class, taking all the pressure off our shoulders and making it easy for us to relax and enjoy the day. Venue, service and food were all excellent with many guests commenting that it was the best wedding they had attended. Thanks again.

AMAZING!
Got ready, had civil ceremony and reception at Makeney on 11th September 2009. Had the most perfect day! Staff were wonderful and went out of the way to help at all points. The food was delicious and service very good. The grounds are beautiful, as are bridal suites. A Special thanks to Kay, the wedding coordinator and Martin Master of ceremonies, who both made the day run so smoothly. We can''t thank you enough!

The perfect day
Wedding held on 5th sept 2009 at the beautiful makeney hall hotel.The day was amazing , food fantastic and every member of staff was polite and could not do enough to help . A massive thankyou to Kay the wedding coordinator for all her help and to vortec for making the day run so smoothly. We would recommend makeney hall to everyone as the perfect wedding setting.

Perfect!!!
We got married this year on the 5th of August and had an amazing day! Makeney Hall was a perfect venue and all the staff did everything they could to make our day special. The wedding co-ordinator, Helen Fairey was fantastic throughout and so were our Master of Ceremony, Tony and also Alaistair Massey. They were always on hand to talk us through everything and to make sure we were happy. It all ran so smoothly. All our guests are still talking about how wonderful the day was. A big thank you to all at Makeney Hall!

Wonderful Wedding Day - thanks loads to Makeney!
We got married at the Makeney in November 2006. We held our wedding ceremony, our wedding breakfast and our evening reception all at the Hotel in the Milford Suite and the transformation of the room from one part of the day to the next was amazing - so smooth and trouble free. The Suite looked really beautiful for the ceremony and the local registrars are lovely. We had the most wonderful wedding day - truly magical with nothing going wrong. Our wedding co-ordinator, Lesley, was a total star and looked after us superbly. Anything we asked for, however small or large, they would do or try their very best to. Our MOC was lovely too. We cannot thank the staff enough for their help and support and looking after our families and friends. Definately recommend The Makeney as a first class venue for your celebrations.

A perfect weekend
Family and friends met up at Makeney on Friday evening and had a lovely dinner in a private dining room, which was beautifully decorated. On the wedding day everything went so well that the day flew by, no awkward hanging about while photos were taken or long wait betwen reception and evening entertainment. All the staff were very caring. The wedding co-ordinator was brilliant and very knowledgable about local services such as florists, photographer and make-up artist. It is obvious from the photos what a good time every one had. Only one fault - trying to pay the bill on the morning after - chaos.

A perfect venue, nothing was too much trouble.
A perfect venue, nothing was too much trouble. Food was fantastic and the service was outstanding, what a nice change to see a hotel still silver serving all the food onto hot plates. All the staff from the receptionest to the cleaners were friendly and helpful. The Wedding Co-Ordinator took so much pressure of us during the planning stages and all our special requests were met. On the day our MOC couldn't do enough for us, he was always at hand to guide us throughout the day. Although our wedding was October this year the grounds were in excellent condition. Thank you Makeney Hall for a fairytale wedding.
