Lowther Deer Park

For the first time, in 2012, Lowther will be offering facilities for weddings and receptions in the beautiful exclusive Lowther Deer Park.

Decoy Lodge, a 17th century hunting lodge, has a dramatic lakeside situation with views to Blencathra, the mountains of the northern Lake District and the Pennines.  It is licensed for civil weddings.  Nearby, Lowther Church is available for church weddings and blessings.

We have teamed up with Karen Rhodes Catering, one of the most popular caterers and event organisers in Cumbria, to provide unique weddings at Lowther. Karen Rhodes has catered for some of the most high profile clients and events in the UK and enjoys an unrivalled reputation  in the Lake District.   Her friendly and helpful team will make all the necessary arrangements. In addition to providing food and service of the highest quality, they will also book a marquee and any necessary infrastructure.  They will advise and look after you throughout, recommending tried and trusted local suppliers and ensuring that your wedding day runs perfectly.
