Summary information

We have 30 bedrooms, so can accommodate up to 60 residents. For the bride, why not spend your final night as a single woman in our stunning new loft suite, while we keep your groom somewhere else in the hotel - And be joined by him on your wedding ni Your wedding ceremony can either take place in the elegant surroundings of our Billiard room or for smaller weddings, in our Boardroom. After the ceremony, your guests can enjoy a relaxing drinks' reception on the sunny hotel terrace while admiring the magnificent views. We can also serve drinks in our Conservatory or Lounge, where the vista is equally awe-inspiring. You can hold the ceremony and reception, and book a small number of bedrooms at the hotel without having exclusive use. During your time at the hotel, you have sole use of the restaurant and boardroom for your ceremony and wedding breakfast. We can provide that special venue for your reception after a church or registry office ceremony. We are also happy for your wedding photographer to accompany you to the reception, so you can take advantage of the idyllic setting and lake views.       Excellent choice, no regrets whatsoever
      Once I had seen a picture of this hotel, I knew it was the one. We visited as soon as we could and my initial positive feeling was confirmed. The Wedding Co-ordinator guided us through every stage of the planning and the Managers on the day were outstanding. In short, the food was sublime, the service exceptional, and the location perfect. We have absolutely no hesitation in recommeding Linthwaite to others.

      We just wanted to say thank you to you and all the staff at Linthwaite for what was for us a truly wonderful weekend. Elizabeth your assistance before hand in all the organising was much appreciated as was the efforts of Mary, Andy – all the waiting on and kitchen staff and the housekeeping staff in ensuring that the weekend itself went so well and that we and all our guests had such a fantastic weekend.       Beautiful Hotel, great food, great service
      This is a lovely hotel for any occasion. You are made to feel at home as soon as you arrive and both the rooms and public areas are delightful. The food here is especially good and the grounds are lovely. Full Marks, Highly Recommended.
