A fantastic day in a fantastic hotel!!
I cannot thank the Leopold enough for making our wedding day the best day of our lives, the rooms are outstanding and the room where we held our ceremony was absolutely perfect in every way - with a lovely vintage feel which was exactly what we wanted (but not in the frilly, flowery vintage way of a lot of venues!). Caroline from day one was extremely accomodating and went out of her way continually to make sure everything was perfect, which it was - she is a real credit to the hotel and really added to how special our day was. I would definately recommend this venue for those wanting something a little more intimate (but in no way small!) and a little bit different too. We will definately be back for our anniversary every year!!

Wedding on 6th August 2011
The Leopold Hotel had something else that the other big city centre hotels didn’t have. It was very welcoming and the décor of the rooms was to our taste. The rooms were just big enough for the size of our party, not huge but not tiny. It had quite an old fashioned/vintage feel which appealed to us, more than modern looking hotels. The staff, especially Caroline, couldn’t do enough for us, very accommodating. Thank you for helping us have such a fantastic day. A lot of our guests have also commented on how good it was and how nice the hotel is. And the Pork Sarnies went down a storm!

Perfect.
My family has stayed at the Leopold several times before so we already knew it was an exceptional hotel and venue. We met Caroline a year before the wedding day and had contact with her regularly thereafter. It is not possible to exaggerate how friendly, helpful, organised, and proactive she is. For context: our photographer attends a wedding every weekend and described her as the best organiser he had ever worked with! The day ran perfectly and was effortlessly supported by all the staff - who were also friendly to our two year old daughter. Highly recommended!

Fantastic wedding reception venue!
From our initial contact with the hotel to the morning we checked out the venue and its staff have been nothing short of outstanding. The reception itself was a real night to remember for all the right reasons. The venue is beautiful, and the rooms are very luxurious. We had a lot of positive comments from our friends and family.

Amazing day with amazing staff
From the first visit with the wedding and events manager caroline the Leopold was just what we was looking for. The venue is amazing for a classy and friendly service, the food was one of the best meals i have ever hd, the help you get in preperation and the lovelly atmosphere really made our day. Leopold made our special day perfect, couldnt of asked for more.

Our Perfect Wedding Day
We married in March 2010 and from the very start of our planning received faultless help and support from Caroline. The Day itself was absolutley wonderful and all ran smoothly. The Oak Room looked beautiful for both the ceremony and the meal afterwards, the team who served and helped us at the meal were both professional and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. All our guests have commented on the lovely location and said how much they enjoyed the day, how approprate the ceremony was for us, and to top it all off we had such a fabulous room to stay in overnight.

Fabulous Wedding Venue
I really cannot put into words how amazing our wedding at the leopold was! Richard was fantastic and couldn''t do enough to make sure we had our perfect day. Everyone has said they wished they could do the whole day again, and we will be going back every anniversary to celebrate!!

Fabulous service and a lovely venue
Thank you so much to Richard and the team - our wedding was just perfect. The team went out of their way to help and everything worked like clockwork. The wonderful chef worked with us to concoct our own slightly odd menu and nothing was too much trouble. Our guests raved about the food both during the day and on the evening. We had a fabulous time and would thoroughly recommend the Leopold to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

fantastic day, great venue, service and food!!
we recently celebrated our wedding at the leopold hotel and we couldn''t have asked for a better day. we wanted the day to be as relaxed as possible and thats exactly what it was, things seemed to run without any problems. weve had postive feedback from our guests about the hotel and the staff. the only problem is that the day went too quickly and now we want to do it all again!!! the wedding breakfast and evening buffet were presented well and tasted fantastic, i think ill have to go back even if its only for the sticky toffee pudding!!!!! so a massive thank you to you and the team at the leopold hotel.

Faultless. Genuinely could not improve anything
The entire event went without a hitch, the timings were stuck to, the food was delicious, and nothing was too much trouble. The staff managed to walk that thin line between being too formal and too casual all day and everyone left the day with perfect memories. Many thanks to Rich, Tom and all the staff.

We’ve joked about getting married again maybe renewing our vows in years to come, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book the Leopold and do exactly the same thing again.
“We had a very short deadline to arrange our wedding and wedding meal, so the pressure was on to find something that met our expectations and would allow us the freedom to organise the wedding and meal we both wanted. Right from the start the staff at the Leopold were keen to help and offer advice and guidance. We had a pretty strong idea of what we wanted, so in a way it was more a case of the Leopold being able to accommodate us. They were always available except on the odd bank holiday for emails, phone calls and were excellent in resolving the final last minute problems always with computers that would have scuppered our day. On the day the staff were attentive, organised, professional and well presented. Drinks in an ante room allowed guests to mingle and refresh old acquaintances, before we entered the main room. To be frank we’d seen several other venues and negotiated deals for the day, but none were so staggering a venue as the oak panelled room offered to us. The Leopold had allowed us to arrange the tables how we wanted, had checked all food for gluten and nuts etc. allowed us to add extra dishes without much complaint and on the day were near invisible as they performed their service. Food arrived hot and staff made sure that everyone’s glass was always full. The food served was excellent, the wine was good and the overall experience was easy and stress free. Our special day was successful due to the Leopold’s professionalism and their willingness to listen to what we wanted. We’ve joked about getting married again maybe renewing our vows in years to come, and I wouldn’t hesitate to book the Leopold and do exactly the same thing again. Thank you for helping to make our day smooth and wonderful.”

Fantastic Wedding Venue
We had our wedding at the Leopold on 28/12/07 and can honestly say I would recommend it to anyone, we had a fab day and were really well looked after by the staff both on the run up to the event and on the actual day.
