From the moment I arrived at Leez the day before the wedding it was like a fairy tale. I stayed at the bridal cottage the night before, & although I couldn''t sleep it was a great evening I would recommend staying the night before. The staff were wonderful Zoe our front of house manager was excellent she was so calm & organised throughout the build up & the day. It was the best day we have ever had, family & friends said that it was the best wedding they had been too. I cannot recommend this place enough fantastic!! We want to have a 10 year blessing & would only return to Leez Priory I wish we could do it all again.

We got married 14 December 2006. It was the best day of our lives. Leez Priory is such a beautiful place and you feel so at home as soon as you walk on the grounds, it takes your breath away. Our coordinator Jo was brilliant, she was efficient and also very fun and friendly, she organised everything so we had nothing to worry about. The food was excellent, the staff were brilliant, we just cannot fault anything about the place. It was a perfect day. Wish we could do it all again. 10/10

Leez Priory is THE most perfect venue. We had a fantastic day (in spite of the rain). The setting is fantastic, and the staff are wonderful and helped make everything perfect for our wedding day. I would recommend this venue whole heartedly. It was a wonderful start to our marriage. Thanks especially to Zoe!!!!!
It was a wonderful day from beginning to end - perfect!
By Vicky and Jason, on 04 Mar 2007
What did we like about Leez Priory? Everything! The fact that the ceremony and the celebrations take place on the same site means that once the guests are there, everyone can relax and enjoy themselves from the minute they arrive. It was helpful being allocated a dressing room from early in the morning, and having guest bedrooms at the venue helped with people who had travelled to attend the wedding. We opted for the fireworks as an extra, which were spectacular, and we were lucky enough to have a guest who could play the grand piano in the room adjoining the bar.The food was excellent and Zoe was on hand throughout the day and evening to ensure that everything ran smoothly. Zoe impressed our guests with her historical knowledge of the Priory and was patient in answering all their questions. Thanks for an unforgettable day!
A dream wedding
By Snidget, on 08 Feb 2007
Our wedding at Leez was all we could have dreamt of. The house and grounds are beautiful, and everything run fantastically. Tracey, our coordinator, made everything go like clockwork, Tina our waitress & Eddie the DJ were fantastic, not to mention the numerous other staff about. The food was incredible, the kind you get in restaurants, not mass production. Everything was set up and done for us as we wanted, and we really didn''t have to ''think'' about anything other than enjoying our day. Numerous guests have commented that this was the best wedding they had been to and that the food was divine! PERFECT!!!

If you dream of the fairytale wedding, Leez is the place to go. We could not fault the day from start to finish. The venue has the wow factor as do the staff and the food. Yes it is expensive but well worth it for an unforgetable day. Suzie runs everything with military precision. We didn''t want the day to end!!!!!!
A Brilliant wedding Venue
By Colin Steele, on 07 Nov 2006
For someone who isn''t exactly a fan of weddings this place really was a fantastic venue.
If you are another person with a difficult family the segregation of the amazing Priory rooms can really
work in your favour. There is a lovely warm feeling to the place and I would recommend getting married here to anyone.
Luckily I happened to see this website while searching for a photographer, thanks to the person
who recommended ART WEDDINGS as they are truly brilliant! I am not kind of person who recommends
anything so I hope this shows how impressed I was with the results.....if they can make me look presentable
they have a special talent....the pictures are fantastic!
I would also like to add that even though the local DJ looks very similar to Fred West he was brilliant on the
night, playing just the right kind of music to get people dancing and matching the mood! He also has no
interest in Storing bodies under his Patio which is always a plus point From a happy married Man!

Our wedding day was so wonderful. The front of house manager ran the whole day and prevented any mishaps!I didnt even notice the rain until the evening. The food was gorgeous and loads of it, the resident dj was brill, and I cant beleive we planned it all in only 12 weeks! A perfect start to the wedding! And the accomodation is expensive but lovely, as is the breakfast the next day. Highly reccommended!
Perfect, highly recommended - fantastic venue.

We got married at Leez Priory on 15 February and had the most amazing, perfect wedding day - we would highly recommend this venue to anyone thinking of getting married. The house is beautiful and you have absolutely exclusive use of the house and grounds all day which makes it very personal. All of the staff are really friendly and helpful. Our wedding Coordinator was Hayley and she was absolutely fantastic and felt like a true friend we had known for ages by the end of the day and she ensured everything ran so smoothly. You can choose which areas you want to use for your ceremony, meal, etc and they are very flexible regarding everything(including the menu). There are silk flowers decorating the various parts of the house which look lovely (including on the dinner tables). The food at our reception was amazing, we had a roast dinner for our main course with home made Yorkshire puds (they really were) and everything was served piping hot and all the guests commented on it. The evening buffet was also very generous and really good quality food. There are different rooms (disco in the cellar, lounges, bar, etc) but it adds to the relaxed atmosphere and means everyone is not shouting above the disco all night. It worked really well. The photos opportunities are gorgeous including the Tower and the Lake and the house itself makes a beautiful backdrop. All in all, we could not fault a thing and it exceeded our expectations - the perfect venue.

We booked our date through Whirlwind Weddings by contacting WW direct and asking if they could give us 3 months notice on the £4k deal. They obliged and we had a perfect sunny day in mid Oct. Service was excellent and all our guests loved the food and buffet - large portions too! We entertained out guests with a bouncy-castle, rodeo bull and music quiz in the evening to help people mingle and it worked a treat. Alcohol is a little pricey and they prefer cash only, while the DJ did a great job, and kept to our playlist. All in all, a wonderful day - highly recommended venue!
The most amazing wedding venue....
By Becky & Sachin Bhambri, on 09 Nov 2005
We got married @ Leez Priory on October 6th 2005. Our wedding day was more perfect than we could have imagined. We were prepared that the weather may not be great as it was October but it was a bright & slighty misty day about 18 degrees which was nice, I don't think I could have coped in that big white dress if it had been hot!
Our Co-ordinator for the day was Doreen, she was great! she made sure every single request we made was met, so If you get married at Leez and get Doreen you will be very lucky!
Our ceremony was in the tower and it was so romantic, I felt like a fairy princess! and didn't want the day to end.
The venue has loads of great photo opportunities and our photographer definatley took some amazing shots see: www.artweddings.co.uk
We had a Magician to entertain while we were having our photos taken, which everyone enjoyed.
The wedding breakfast was fantastic, We chose the salmon starter followed by the steak and for the vegetarians, mozzerella and tomato salad and then mushroom croustade followed by the chocolate dessert. mmmm! We were to excited to eat much of our meals but what we did eat was so good and the portions were very big.
The buffet was also amazing, so much food and again all so tasty.
Leez recommend Eddie who is the inhouse DJ, we had specific requirements for the songs we wanted him to play and he was happy to play exactly what we requested.
For the evenning entertainment we had a vodka drinking luge which was set up in the carriageway and which gave a lot of people hangovers the next day.
There are 15 rooms available so that some of the guests could stay over, We had the Granary which is the bridal suite with a four poster bed and Jacuzzi bath, and was very romantic.
If you are looking for a wedding venue and don't mind travelling like we did, We would recommend Leez Priory without doubt !!
