Mark owner is objectionable
Have to say I agree with Alexis... Mark is irratic to say the least. You need to think carefully about booking this place do you want to gamble with your happy day?

The owner, Mark Justin, is just dreadful
Please see my Tripadvisor review - basically Mark Justin is a rude, intolerable individual who doesn't bother to learn your name and only perks up when you show him money. Such a shame as the other staff are so lovely and the chef is so good!

We did it! It could not have been better!
Mark, Elliot and all the team at Le Gothique were marvellous. We were so pleased with how the wedding went. It really could not have been better. All of our guests commented on the wonderful venue and food. We couldn't fail to notice how smoothly everything ran. The garden at Le Gothique is a fabulous asset and unrivalled by any other wedding venue in London. We owe you a massive thank you.

We had a perfect day!
I just need to write a little note to say a huge thank you to all at Le Gothique for making our wedding day (August 27th 2011) such a huge success. We also had a survivors party on the following day (Sunday) which was equally fantastic. It was the perfect day and Mark, ellit and all the team were all so brilliant. We have so many special memories of the food and the day itself.

Stunning venue, personal service
Our August Bank Holiday wedding 2010 was a success in every way with special and personalised service from Mark and his young manager Elliot. The outdoor setting in the blooming garden was simply wonderful. Money could not have bought the free display from Mark's award winning hanging baskets. Exceptional food delivered in smooth and effortless style. We look forward to endless anniversary dinners at this most special of venues.

Fantastic wedding reception venue
My husband and I got married on 29th May 2010 and chose the wonderful Le Gothique for our wedding venue. It was recommended by a friend and in the lead up to the wedding we ate there many times, each time receiving fantastic service and food. On the day of the wedding the staff at Le Gothique were fantastic, as it was raining the owner kept in contact with my husband with regards to where was best for us to eat (in or outside). In the end we had the wedding meal outside in the beautiful courtyard. All of our guests were very impressed with the venue and many have said that they will go back for a meal. Excellent value and the staff were fab!

Fabulous staff
Mark and simon and all their fabulous staff made our day so wonderful. we will never forget it. We hope to return for drinks and anniversaries in the future.

We had a very special and memorable day at Le Gothique. All our guests commented on how smoothly the day ran and how attentive all the staff were in just the right way. What a great party we had in the evening! We thoroughly recommend Le Gothique as a fabulous venue. Our big day could not have been better.

Very highly commended
We had an absolutely fantastic wedding at Le Gothique in August 2009. We had the perfect day the reception was well organised and all our guests thought that it was a wonderful venue. The food was very highly commended and we were all aware of how much hard work went into running the bar and wating upon our guests.

Genuinely personal.Stunning surroundings
As a food and beer writer I was always going to be a demanding client for Le Gothique but to say Mark, Simon and the staff exceeded our expectations is an understatement. Their heart-felt desire,combined with genuine enthusiasm for innovation,meant a fantastic meal, complete with beer match for every course,was delivered on the day with professionalism and speed- in-fact I think our guests had more nice things to say about Le Gothique than they did about my dress! All joking aside, if you want a genuinely personal event, in truly stunning surroundings, then I can''t recommend Le Gothique highly enough.

Mark and Simon made our wedding day such a success on April 18th Rod and I had an absolutely brilliant day and the reception party was great fun. It was wonderful to be looked after so well and the food was excellent too. We have had a lot of positive feedback from our guests
