26.11.06 .BEST DAY OF MY LIFE!! PERFECT SETTING & BUILDING
We got married on Nov 26th 2006 & i can simply say everything about it was perfect. It was the best day of my life. Being a winter wedding I chose Langdale Chase for its open fires, dark wood panels, ornate period features - my dream was to come down the stone staircase and be married by the huge open fire - which I did. The setting is fantstic, just on lake Windermere & we were so lucky that weather was perfect - like a bright summer''s day. Had some amazing shots by the Lake - the mountains are so beautiful, I dont think you could have a better setting for a wedding. The food was gorgeous: We had potato & leek soup, roast beef & yorkshire pudding then finished off with sticky toffee pudding - just what we needed on a winter day. It also was great to have the meal by candlelight as it made a cosy, warm atmosphere. Clare and staff were so helpful and organised everything so well - they were so unobtrusive. Every room for our guests was lovely. It was also great value being on a sunday. As you can tell I have nothing but praise for Langdale Chase and would recommend it to everyone.

A Fairytale Setting
We got married at the Langdale Chase in September 2005- the hottest day in September since 1917! We stayed at the hotel from Friday to Monday and all I can say is that it was totally outstanding in every way. The venue is breathtaking - a million photo- opportunities. The food is just wow - we tailored our wedding menu so that all guests chose exactly what they wanted to eat. The staff are superb - nothing is too much trouble. Faye and Clare are simply wonderful - if you are planning your wedding you can trust them totally to deliver every minor detail. Stay in the Boat House on your wedding night - it is so romantic. Our guests are still talking about the day - many said it was the best wedding they had ever been to -which speaks for itself.

Truely magical setting
Our wedding weekend was very special. The service, food and hospitality were of the highest standard and the friendly atmosphere created by all the staff concerned was second to none. We are delighted that the occasion went so well, especially with the weather being so kind!

Magical, fairytale venue...................
We had a magical day from start to finish. Claire and Faye did a fantastic job, discreet but highly organised. We had exclusive use for 24hrs and all the guests commented on the beautiful venue, fabulous food and the day as a whole. We had a candle lit service which was very apt for the setting, romantic and very personal. Several guests had to check that they didn't have the bridal suite by mistake!! Definately pay a visit if you're looking for a lakeland venue. We can't praise it enough!

Could not have asked for a better day - 12 July 2004
Ok maybe the sun could have cracked the flags! but other than that it was the best it could possibly have been. If I had won the lottery jackpot I would have still done everything exactly the same. The staff were fantastic, put me and all the family/guests at ease, the service was superb and the food scrummy. All my unmarried friends and family are extremely jealous and wish they had got married and got married here before us as they cannot think how their wedding day can live up to our day at Langdale Chase.

Perfect
Thw whole day was perfect. Clare and all the staff at the hotel did everything to make the day very special. Clare especially was superb - willing to help with anything and everything. The hotel, the view, the rooms and the service all excellent.

Thank you - everything was perfect...
The weding was such a memorable time for all of us. Everyone said what a lovely wedding it was and this was because of the hotel and its staff. Everyone was so friendky and helpful. We were particularly impressed by the fact that when we needed anybody they were there but then they queitly melted away until the next time. I would love to think that I might stay agin - not necessarily for a wedding. Everything was perfect - the food, the decor, the setting and the service even if the weather wasn't!

everything we wished for...it was perfect
The wedding was everything we wished for ...and more. We couldn't fault a single thing, it was perfect. Clare and her team are exceptionally good at the big things (co-ordination, meal etc, but it is all the little things they do and the care taken that make it so extra special. We will always remember how wonderful it was.
