Built in 1890 this Victorian Country House Hotel is elegant yet relaxed. Positioned within a 24,000 acre nature reserve the hotel offers a unique and incomparable setting; hosting one of the most famous picturesque backdrops in Wales, overlooking the lake with its magical fairy tale tower and surrounding countryside.

The hotel is privately owned and boasts a team of highly professional and dedicated staff. We pride ourselves in tailoring each bespoke wedding to your individual needs; meaning that the most intimate of receptions or the most magnificent of banquets are equally possible.

Our extensive selection of canapés and pre-reception drinks will provide your guests with the perfect social key whilst the photographs are being taken. As well as a wide variety of standard menus and packages, we are able to create a wedding breakfast or buffet specific to your personal requirements. Our menus reflect a genuine enthusiasm for food and understanding of quality ingredients, utilising local produce such as Organic Welsh Lamb and Welsh Black Beef.

The hotel is licensed for civil ceremonies and partnerships with a choice of three rooms in our Wintergreen Suite, all beautifully decorated and affording wonderful views overlooking the famous fairytale tower in the heart of the lake. All our function suites come with a private terrace.
