With its light, bright ambience and contemporary décor, the newly renovated Kyte Hotel at Darrington, West Yorkshire makes the perfect place to hold your wedding. Whether you’re looking for a civil ceremony, wedding breakfast or simply a buffet reception we have a choice of private rooms available to cater for celebrations of all sizes and can seat up to 175 guest’s banquette style.

The hotel, which is set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside (10 miles South East of Leeds) is modern, contemporary and yet classic in decor so suits any colour scheme. It also has a warm, friendly ambience and very helpful staff.

The experienced team of award winning chefs have created an interesting choice of menus and use only the finest, freshest ingredients. Personalised touches help create a distinctly individual experience and your personal wedding planner can help you with all aspects of arranging your most special of days.

Kyte Hotel is easily accessible from all areas of the UK as it is located directly off the A1 at Darrington, just south of the M62 interchange. Both Leeds & Doncaster train stations are approximately 15-20 minutes away and Pontefract station is only 3 miles. The hotel also has free Wi Fi and a large free car park.

As a new wedding venue we have many dates available so if you book early you can choose your perfect date.

      everything we could have hoped for
      We got married at the Kyte Hotel on 24th September 2011. Every time I panicked about plans etc. Jessica and the team stepped in and made sure everything ran smoothly. Nothing is too much trouble and my best friend (a very fussy lady!!) said it was the best food she had ever had at a wedding. High praise indeed. We loved every minute of our day and would highly recommed Jessica and the team at the Kyte .

      Fabulous venue to work at
      I have photographed a couple of weddings at the Kyte. jessica and her team are excellent. Nothing is too much trouble. In fact, they often go the extra mile to help before you even need to ask. Highly recommended venue.

      our wedding
      we got married on the 28th may 2011, at the Kyte Hotel. we found the service of Jessica and the team exceptional at no point was anything pushed on us and they listen to our ideas and delivered them to an excellent quality. they made our day so special, they even rescued my cake which had been damaged on - route. i had no doubts that the venue would be everything and more! they totally delivered!!!

      Great wedding venue, Great staff. Perfect day
      My husband and I got married at the Kyte last august and we had the most perfect day. Jessica the wedding co-ordinator was fab she made sure we got everything we wanted to fit our budget! even down to sorting out fireworks in the evening which worked out considerably less than hiring a company to do it and they were great. The food was excellent and was complimented by everyone including my father who is very critical of food. They were very flexible with requests catering for a few differences in menus for a couple of people without any extra charge. The rooms were decorated beautifully and I really didnt have to worry about anything! Jessica made it very easy for us and we really didnt have anything to think about on the day. The staff were helfull and professional and our guests had a great time. We couldnt have asked for more, I would and have reccommended this venue to others

      Fantastic Food and Service
      A lovely little hotel that offers a personal touch. The food is fantastic and is what sold the venue to us for our wedding in the first place. Nothing was too much hassle and the staff helped make the day memorable. Will be going back there very soon.

      THE MOST PERFECT VENUE BY FAR
      the venue was amazing the food fab and the staff were so helpful. jessica did everything to help us get what we wanted. nothing was too much trouble. everything was perfect, we are planning to spend r 1st anniversary there.

      Wedding Day
      Hi had our wedding here in April 2011. The day was absolutely perfect, we could't have asked for anything more! All our guests also commented how lovely the place is! The food was fantastic, friendly staff & all the facilities are modern & clean!! Jessica brought our day together perfectly, with our very laid back attitudes it wouldn't have been the same without her & her special touches! We couldn't have found a better place to celebrate our special day! Thanx x

      A perfect hotel for a memorable day, staff that are hand throughout planning and the actual day a hotel that you will want to return to. excellent service, The hotel is wonderful with great backdrops for that perfect photo, the food is amazing. our wedding day was certainly made to memorable we had none stop help when we needed, even though we were on a budget it was made special We are returning to the hotel to celebrate our first anniversary

      Excellent venue for your wedding
      Right from the word go we knew our wedding day would be fantastic because Jessica and her team were so supportive and helpful, they made our day special and unique. The venue is superb and the food is exceptional. The attentiveness of all the staff was excellent which meant we could enjoy our day with no worries, from Jonathon the bar manager to the young lady who decorated the room to perfection the service was faultless.       Excellent service
      We had the oppertunity to be married at a much more luxurious location however the moment we steeped in to the Kyte hotel they made us feel like we had been there forever, the service is first class, the venue is beautiful and the food is amazing. The excellent customer service is not just a front for wedding business, go and have lunch and the service is top class and friendly, all my guests commented that it was the most relaxed and intimate wedding they had ever been to, when I renew my vows in 10 years I will be booking again.       Amazing Day, Amazing Staff, Amazing Food.
      I can't rate Jessica and the rest of the staff at the Kyte Hotel enough. My partner and I wanted our special day to feel more like a party than a wedding and Jessica understand that from the start and delivered everything we asked for and more. Everyone that came to our wedding loved it and said how fantastic they had been treated. Everything Jessica suggested worked brilliantly, but at no time was there any pressure to do anything we didn't want to. We really can't thank them enough.

      Fantastic Wedding Day!
      We couldn't fault the service we received from the Kyte hotel, the standard was exceptional; Jessica (our wedding co-ordinator)was happy to accommodate everything we wanted in terms of food, decorations, timings. We would definately highly recommened the Kyte hotel for anyone looking for a first class wedding reception with your own personal touch, without the hyped-up wedding prices and strict 'package-style' approach.
