Ironmongers' Hall

Built in the 1920’s, this Tudor style Hall feels like a country house re-located in the heart of the City of London. The Hall is conveniently situated between Barbican and St Paul’s Tube Stations.

As a wedding venue, Ironmongers' Hall can provide a unique backdrop for your special occasion. There is an onsite team of dedicated wedding specialists to assist you with every aspect of the day - from the ceremony through to the wedding reception. As we are fully licensed for civil marriage and civil partnership ceremonies, there is no need to move to another venue to continue your celebrations.

A wide range of menus and catering options are available with an experienced team of chefs on hand to create the ideal range of dishes for your event. Our events team can assist with even the smallest detail from flowers to cakes and decorations.

Unlike many other venues, Ironmongers' Hall is available for exclusive use. The Banqueting Hall provides a stunning space for weddings up to 136 guests, whilst the comfortable Drawing Room is ideal for more intimate weddings up to 60. With the entire venue at your disposal including a charming courtyard, this magnificent location will undoubtedly add to the glamour of your very special day.

      Amazing service, historic location
      I can't recommend the team and venue at the Ironmongers' Hall highly enough. The venue itself is beautiful inside with an amazing historic feel to it, and despite being in the middle of London you'd never think so once you're inside. The main dining room in particular is spectacular. Quite apart from the venue though it's the staff that make it stand out. Ed and Cristina were fantastic in the run up to our wedding, but all of the waitstaff were impeccably presented and anticipated everyone's needs - our guests received service that would have put most even high end restaurants to shame. Overall, absolutely recommended!

      The dream wedding
      We met Ed and Cristina almost a year before our wedding and booked in a matter if days. Through the whole planning process they were attentive, professional, diligent and as interested in the detail as any bride could hope for. Behind the scenes in the few days/hours up to wedding they worked hard to facilitate all our other suppliers getting into the hall without any problems; wine merchants, florist, photographer, band etc. The reception itself was run with such efficiency and excellent service that the staff went almost unnoticed. The ability to offer such level of service ensured the whole reception ran to time and the party went on as long as we could dance for. A number of compliments have been forthcoming regarding the service and the Ironmongers’ hall generally in thank you cards we have received. It is an unusual setting not being a hotel or marquee and many people commented on its magic and the space which allows guests to mingle and relax. I wholeheartedly recommend the Ironmongers’ hall. It is a fantastic way to start married life and I only hope I can find an excuse in the future to work with Ed and Cristina and use the hall again.

      Hidden gem in the city provides great ambiance with faultless service.
      Thanks to Michael and his team at the Ironmongers' Hall for all their efforts. Our day was truly memorable and enjoyed by all. Flowers - ask for Bridie Hastings as she did an amazing job.

      The most wonderful place to get married in London
      We received amazing help and assistance from the team at Ironmongers' Hall and the caterers. Everything ran like clockwork and was faultless. Our guests had a wonderful time and it is a wonderful setting to get married. It is hard to know what else to say because it was all so brilliant.
