Everyone who attended thoroughly enjoyed the day and had a good time. The food and service our guests received was excellent and I have recommended the Hook House Hotel to colleagues and friends. A hidden gem!
My husband and I had our wedding reception at Hook House on 28th April 2012. We can honestly say that it was the best day of our lives. From the initial planning stages to the actual day, Tim Bull the manager of the house was brilliant, very efficient, accommodating and helpful with everything. The house is beautiful, and the grounds are very well kept and groomed, it makes a perfect English Country wedding which is the reason we we choose it!. The great thing about this venue is that you have the place all to yourself with no sharing with other parties. Tim and his team did an amazing job, the food was lovely, DJ that Tim recommended was brilliant!!! we thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day at Hook House and would recommend it to anyone!. Thanks Tim ;-)

Perfect venue, perfect day
We were married here on 31st March 2012 and Tim and his team gave us a brilliant day. Not only is Hook House a beautiful, yet intimate venue,  Tim and his team have the confidence and professionalism of people who provide an excellent service and know exactly what they're doing.   Having the House and beautiful garden exclusively for ourselves and guests was lovely.  As was the fact that the 18 rooms meant our wedding party could all stay over and join us for a family breakfast the following morning,  before a leisurely unhurried checkout.  A great way to end the event. The staff were all very efficient and friendly, the food was great,  the DJ (recommended by Tim) kept the dance floor full of happy guests all night and everything went very smoothly.   We couldn't be happier with our day and would recommend Hook House not only as a great venue, but also a great team to entrust with your special day.  Peter and Louise Hanney

From first enquiry to collecting our bits & pieces after the honeymoon Tim & his Staff were superb. Tim's advice and suggestions were of immense help, the Venue (inside & outside) was beautifully presented. Our guests ranged from a 2 yr old to an older person in a wheelchair to a child with special dietary needs. Nothing was too much trouble - no request was overlooked. Tim & his Team are professionals whom you can trust and rely upon.

Wedding on March 24th at the Hook House Hotel
My husband and I just had our wedding at the Hook House Hotel, on March 24th, 2012. It was beautiful. Tim (the hotel manager) was super helpful with everything we needed. Any requests or questions we had were promptly answered by email. He is full of suggestions, and will work with you to make your day what you want in all areas, from the food, to the music, to the set up of the rooms. The food was great. The staff on the day were pleasant and very professional. Our wedding was intimate with only 50 guests and having our reception indoors was perfect for that, but the marquee means that the facility is perfect for larger weddings as well. The grounds were beautiful for the photos, and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. Also Tim allows you to allocate guests rooms on your own, which means that you can take peoples' needs into consideration when doing so. The DJ reccomended by Tim was great, and had everyone on the dancefloor until the very end. All in all it was a wonderful day, and The venue made it perfect. I would definitely reccomend this place to anybody out there looking for a more personal touch, as when you have your wedding there the house is only occupied by your wedding. I didn't want to have my wedding in a hotel with guests not associated with the wedding milling around. This touch also allows for your wedding to be the main even in Tim's mind at the time. Great day, Great Venue!

Absolutely Incredible...
Tim & his team @ Hook House Hotel were all incredible, they made our day absolutely fabulous, very accomodating, very professional & gave us really good advice around choices on the day. The flow of the day was superb, the food & drink people are still talking about & the atmosphere was fabulous! The DJ was the best i've ever seen & really got everyone up & dancing. Thank you so much for making our special day so fantastic & memorable! I would recommend anyone to have their special day here!!! Breakfast was fab too, just what we needed the next morning!!

A Perfect Wedding Reception
Wedding date 02/07/2011. The director of the hotel, Tim and his team made our wedding unforgettable for us and our guests. From the planning of the wedding to the day itself, Tim was there to ensure everything ran smoothly. Many of our guests have and still are commenting on how fantastic the day was, in particular they really loved the venue, the food and wine and the service. Hook House Hotel is the perfect venue for a wedding and we will never forget our special day.

Perfect day
Thank you for all your hard work that ensured our daughter and new son-in-law had a perfect day. We know that does not happen without careful planning, training of staff and attention to detail. Right from the beginning you were there to help us make our choices by giving us all the information we needed. The rooms were extremely comfortable especially the beds which we were grateful to sink into after a very long day. Breakfast was perfect and relaxed.Your staff were brilliant.

From the moment we booked to leaving the hotel the morning after the wedding, nothing was too much trouble for Tim and his team. Truly magical wedding venue and perfect in every way, we couldnt have asked for anything else. The level of service is fantastic and the food is superb!! If you are thinking of booking Hook House, definitely do it - you wont be disappointed!

Just a big thankyou to Tim and his team for such a wonderful day. All the guests day and evening commented on what a hidden gem the hotel is with beautiful grounds and such friendly staff. We had excellent service from the day we booked it to the time we left the hotel the day after the wedding. we told Tim exactly what we wanted and he delivered to such high standards. We would recommend this hotel. Thanks again Tim for everything.

What An Amazing Day
Wedding date 25/9/10 - we would like to say that this was an amazing venue - all of our guests - day & evening said that they had a really great time - Tim & his team were brilliant - nothing was too much trouble & everything went smoothly from start to finish. The food was great and the DJ had everyone up on the dance floor. The grounds were beautiful & even the rain disappeared on the day. Would highly recommend this venue.
