Fantastic staff and location
From start to finish all the staff were helpful, with nothing being too much trouble. We used the Baronial Hall with about 55 guests for Breakfast. The room is very traditional overlooked by a balcony just outside the bridal suite. The final point and key to so many weddings is that they did not have any hefty booking fee we saw with so many others. The day for us was perfect and we are very happy to recommend.

Perfect venue & wonderful staff
My fiance and I visited many venues before deciding on Highgate House. As soon as we met with the staff there we knew it was going to be a special place. It is very rare in this country to encounter such a high level of service as the staff at Highgate provide and they do this whilst maintaining a personal and friendly approach. We had our ceremony, wedding breakfast and evening buffet in the fabulous Baronial Hall. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. We chose our menu with Lee the Head Chef who is lovely and his food is delicious. Special room requests for my father who is wheelchair bound and my two nephews who have special needs were no problem. Sara and Alison ensured that the day ran seamlessly, exactly as we wanted. We had a perfect day and all our guests complimented the choice of venue and the quality and quantity of the food. Your guests will not go hungry! Go and see Jenni the wedding co ordinator and get your date booked with Highgate, you will not be disappointed.

Superb service and beautiful venue
I would like to thank Nina for the superb service she provided in all the organisation and planning for the wedding of my daughter and son-in-law back in September. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the reception at Highgate House. The food was delicious and plentiful, and so many people told me how much they appreciated the meal and the kindness and courtesy of the staff. Our every need was looked after, even down to a member of staff bringing a wheelchair over for my father to use at the end of the day when he was really tired but just didn't want to go to bed! We had a wonderful day and will always treasure those precious memories.

We just wanted to write a big thank you to Nina for all of her hard work, effort and attention to detail that she put in to making our wedding day so special. Everyone loved the venue and thought the staff were fantastic, and we couldn't agree more! We are so very grateful for choosing Highgate House and enjoyed every second of our day.

Excellent service and attention
We booked Highgate House for our wedding breakfast and reception, we would without doubt recommend to future brides and grooms for their wedding day. The service and attention to detail we received from Nina prior to the wedding was fantastic and out shone all the other suppliers we used. We enjoyed the taster menu and the food on the day was also excellent. All of our guests commented on how great the food and service was on the day. Our thanks goes out to all the staff who worked on the day of our wedding, the food, service and venue exceeded our expectations on the day. My daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception at Highgate House and we all had the most marvellous day. We were delighted with the organisation from their end and the evening also went extremely well. The wedding breakfast was delicious, and we had so many guests congratulate us on the choice of venue, and as the weather was so beautiful, it was the icing on the cake.

Wonderful!
We married at Highgate House during November. The day was wonderful and that owed so much to the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. They ensured that everything we had asked for was carried our perfectly, and everything went according to plan. It was perfect.

Friendly, helpful staff, very efficient and organised, excellent food
Right from the first visit we found our wedding co-ordinator and the rest of the staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. The setting is lovely - we had our ceremony in the drawing room and wedding breakfast in the baronial hall. The food was very good indeed and the service excellent.

Perfect wedding venue.
As it was our wedding, we stayed in the honeymoon suite. Although the room was fabulous and our guests all seemed happy with theirs, what really stood out was the staff. They were all really fantastic, they all perfectly balanced professionalism with friendliness and left us feeling they''d do their very best to make our stay just right. We certainly intend to return to celebrate our anniversary.

Absolutely amazing!
We married at Highgate House on 15th August 2009 and our day couldn''t have been anymore perfect - even the sun was shining! The wedding breakfast food was excellent, the staff and the service were fantastic - nothing was too much trouble! We had a hog roast for the evening reception and many of our guests commented that it was the ''best wedding food they had ever had!'' The house, the grounds and the rooms are stunning - I can''t wait for the pictures! A big thank you to Nina and the team at HH for making our day so memorable for us and all of our guests.

Perfect!
Highgate House is the perfect place for a wedding. The Baronial Hall makes a magical setting for the ceremony. We had a brilliant day and the staff were excellent and all very accommodating. Nina was so helpful right from the start. She was always very quick to respond to our queries and questions and sort out anything we needed from her. Paula and the team were great on the day, making sure everything was done the way we wanted and that everything ran smoothly. The food was amazing - proper food done really well. We would recommend staying an extra night in the Honeymoon Suite, as you won''t want to leave!

Amazing!
Our wedding date on 2 May was fantastic. The whole day was a dream, the setting was lovely and the food absolutely gorgeous. Highgate House thought of every little detail and the rooms looked absolutely stunning. We are very grateful for their amazing support, help and fantastic service. We definitely made the right choice by choosing Highgate House as uor venue.
