      Excellent wedding reception venue
We had our wedding reception this October at the high rocks. The room held over 100 people easily. They fed us really well. The service was outstanding. The Toastmaster was funny, witty and very helpful. The setting was beautiful for our photos. The High Rocks mini buses took guests to their local hotels no problem. Would defintely recommend this venue.

      Wow!!!!
What can I say about High Rocks except wow! They made our wedding day on 19th September 2009 even more magical than we could have dreamed of. The food was fantastic, the venue was stunning, the staff couldn't do enough for us - it all just went without a hitch. The toastmaster is a must and the recommended dj had everyone up dancing. I can't recommend High Rocks enough and we have got some amazing photos to remind us of our wonderful day.

The best day of my life!
High Rocks was the perfect venue for our wedding. I want a relaxed day and all the staff there made sure everything was catered for. The food was amazing and everyone commented on the beautiful venue and surroundings. They are clearly professionals when it comes to organising weddings, they even found somewhere for me to hide for 20 minutes with a cup of coffee on the wedding morning. I can't thank them enough for making it the perfect day. I couldn't fault anything.

They made sure we had a fantastic day!
We celebrated our wedding at high rocks on the 9th of June and all I can say is it is a fantastic place to get married! the rocks, railway and gardens provided talking points and great fun for all our guests and wonderful photos!. The staff were excellent particularly Martin our MC, Luigi is also brilliant, he tailored everything to our individual needs and was always available to discuss our plans. The only downside was their Dj which you have to use, Stuart, he was terrible, didn''t listen to requests and didn''t play what we asked to hear.So get a band and you will have the perfect day!

Most fantastic day of our lives
We got married here on 9th september 2006 and we could not have aksed for a beteer day, especially weather wise. We booked the train to take all of our guests and most stayed at the wellington hotel that shipped them to the station and brought everyone home again. Everyone commented on how easy this was. The food, dj, mc were fantastic and everyone commented on how beautiful the venue was. We were married in the restaurant and then had our reception in the halt. Luigi was fantastic and the venue got everything right that we had aksed for. I really wanted candles rather than flowers for my centre pieces and it was no trouble as some places will not let you do this. I just wish i could do it again. Most fantstic day of our lives!!!

      Totally exceeded our expectations.
We got married at High Rocks with the civil ceremony in the Presidents Suite and reception in the Halt. Most of our guests and us stayed overnight at the New Wellington, so the courtsey bus shuttled everyone back and forth from 2pm to 2am, which everyone really appreciated - no hassle with cars! Luigi was really laid back about it all beforehand while I was stressed naturally, in hindsight it was obvious why - they are the professionals and know absolutely what they are doing! The food was fantastic, our MC for the day was just superb, the DJ was really good no cheese! and the whole day really was the best ever. They fed and watered our photographer and the two guys filming as a courtesy, and our guests have commented repeatedly about what a great place it was, and what a great time they had. Our wedding was last November a tad late with this review!, and we were very lucky with the weather as we had a beautfiul sunny day and High Rocks looked stunning with the ivy outside having turned brown and red. If you are choosing a venue for your special day, make it this one.

a beautiful and friendly place to spend your dream day
Me and my husband had our wedding reception here on the 20th of May. It was organised by Luigi who was so friendly and easy going. We had tried out the food in Guiseppe's downstairs a few weeks before so knew it was going to be good quality. The day went without a hitch except the weather , so unfortunately we couldn't have our photos outside, British summer! The buffet was delicious, the DJ brilliant and everyone said what a good venue it had been , we were very sad when it was all over!

      Simply the best
My daughter was married on August 13th 2005, the day was fantastic, the staff, the food everything was first class. As mother of the bride I expected perfection and we got it. They catered for 150 guest and made everyone feel special. Martin the toasmaster is a must, he even took control of me, made us laugh gave tissues when we cried. They thought of everything and made sure everything they promised happened. Even on the Sunday when we collected the cake they still made everything easy. I just want to do it again. I cannot thank them enough. Margaret

      fantastiv venue
I have chosen this venue for my wedding next september. It all looks fantastic and so far i have found the staff really nice and helpfull. They have tended not to want to go over details till later which i think is better than making firm decisions right now, especially i keep changing my mind on everything depending on which wedding magazine i have read that week. Nothing is too much trouble and i saw a wedding there last week and can not wait till mine now.

      So far so good.............!
We have booked our wedding reception at High Rocks. We found Luigi and his staff really helpful. He showed us round the complex and was glad to answer any queries we had. He was also very happy for us to lower our budget by letting us bring a lot of our own wine. The building itself is beautiful and the grounds are very well kept. The steam train is a real bonus too! Really looking forward to our reception there in summer 2005!

Truly the best day of our lives
This is a truly fantastic venue, I arrived on the steam train (this was absolute amazing I paid virtually nothing for the carriage that fits 30 people - they decorated the train and carriage and gave out free drinks! The guards were all dressed up and I got a red carpet getting on and off the train - they made me feel like a princess and it was a perfect beginning to a perfect day!!!). High Rocks is a beautiful place, we got married in Guiseppe's restaurant, which looked beautiful, plenty of room and a nice wide aisle. Reception drinks in the garden and the reception in The Halt. The Halt looked lovely, the food was fantastic and the service was amongst the best we have ever experienced, always someone on hand to help! There seemed to be vast amounts of helpful waiters! The manager (Luigi) is a smashing guy (despite being an Ipswich supporter) as are his staff! They weren't interested in talking about anything to do with the wedding until 2 weeks beforehand but then they were really helpful and new all the right questions to ask - I really and truly have nothing bad to say about High Rocks - they were absolutely brilliant!! Oh and the High Rocks over the road are a lovely location for some great photos. All in all we had a lovely relaxing day - the best ever! All our guests said it was the best wedding they had been to and the steam train was a great touch!
