Superb Venue
Not sure where to start on this as the venue and staff were outstanding but here we go: We got married here in mid April and everything running up to and on the day was fantastic. The venue is absolutely stunning, the grounds are extensive and beautiful, the hotel itself was amazing. The head concierge (Steve) who did the initial show round was the most genuine and honest person you could have asked for. Without the need for any sort of hard sell his manner and upfront tour of the hotel and grounds were second to none. The wedding coordinator (Melissa) was superb, she reassured, guided, offered advice and was an all round rock from the day we booked and even post event. The new wife naturally had the most contact with Melissa, but the fact even my questions were resolved faster than I anticipated shows how efficient she is and a real asset to the hotel. Our toast master and coordinator (Luke) was without doubt an absolute legend. Whatever was asked by family, friends and us he couldn't have been more attentive. As with any event we wanted last minute changes/had questions and just wanted reassurance and Luke covered all of this with ease. I must add my new wife and I have worked in the hospitality industry for over 20 years and could only wish we had a couple of people like Luke as he is nothing short of exceptional. At times we felt like we were just at home in our front room we were that relaxed and comfortable within this stunning venue supported by fantastic staff. Thank you to everyone for making our wedding the perfect day. We're looking forward to revisiting again soon.

Best Day of Their Life
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all at Hazlewood Castle for the most wonderful wedding day we could have imagined. Our daughter Hannah was married there last week and we could never have imagined or hoped how well it turned out. Hannah had very definite ideas about how she wanted things to be and they were carried out to the smallest of details. From the moment we walked through the door the night before we were welcomed warmly, especially by Steve who went out of his way to talk to us and tell us a little of the history of the castle ( we really must come back and get the full tour!). The actual wedding day was perfect in every way and a special mention must be made of Luke who was, friendly, attentive and helped the whole thing run smoothly, even down to delaying the start of the meal by 30 minutes because we were enjoying the sun, the champagne and having photos taken too much. He is an asset to Hazlewood and whatever he gets paid, earns every penny! He was on hand whenever needed and we felt confident that everything was well organised. Finally thanks to those behind the scenes - Chef, the food was beautiful, both the Wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. How some managed to get through a five course meal and then eat fish and chips a few hours later was beyond us, but they did! Once again, our heartfelt thanks for giving us a day which was described aptly by one guest as 'one of the best days of their life'.

Dear Melissa, Steve, Steve and all who made our wedding day so very special at Hazlewood, A belated huge thanks to you all for all that you did to make our day so wonderful. So we didn't get a classical guitarist or great weather after the heatwave the week before - however we had a most fantastic day and it's thanks to you all. Again sincere thanks and we look forward to seeing you again - perhaps a small dinner for our first anniversary?? Take good care of yourselves and keep up the good work of keeping people happy

Amazing
We just want to say what a wonderful day we all had at our daughters wedding. The organisation, from the outset, made our life so easy and your staff, made our day a complete pleaseure. Could we take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude to all the people involved, in particular, April-Leigh, Guy & Steve. Everyone that attended the wedding, including the evening guests, commented on how amazing everything was. you should be extremely proud of the team you have working for you, including receptionists, bar staff, housekeepers, chefs etc. Nothing was too much trouble for any memeber of staff we spoke to.

Professional & Personal touch

Wonderful Experience
I am writing following our wedding on 29th July at Hazlewood Castle, I wanted to make you aware of what a wonderful experience we had from start to finish. From the very first meeting with Amanda Bellwood, the conference and banqueting co-ordinator, she was so helpful and efficient, she remembered everything we said and could not do enough for us. She was easy to contact and offered suggestions from her own experiences. We stayed at Hazlewood the night before our wedding and the night of the wedding, Amanda came to greet us shortly after arriving and spent time with us assuring us that everything was ready for the following day, every supplier that she recommended was wonderful and she really put us at ease at a very stressful time. On the day of our wedding Amanda was there every step of the way ensuring that everything was perfect - which it certainly was. Also on the day Guy and Steve were a wonderful help and also did everything they could to ensure the day was perfect. All of the staff we dealt with at Hazlewood were friendly, helpful and efficient, they answered all of our questions, shared their knowledge of the castle which many of the guests commented upon and were impressed with, they made our wedding all the more special through their hard work, good humour and efficiency. After working with the staff at Hazlewood Castle I would recommend it as a wedding or party venue to everyone, not only are the grounds and the building beautiful but the staff are are an aabsolute pleasure to work with!

Totally Perfect
My wife and I would like to take this opportunity to convey our sincere thanks to your staff at Hazlewood Castle, in particular Steve, Guy and Amanda who organised our event in an extremely professional manner. Nothing was too much trouble for any of them. We have spoken to our daughter, currently on honeymoon in Italy and her initial comments were that they would like to re-live the whole day again as they enjoyed it so much. We have had the opportunity of speaking to most of our guests since the wedding and the feedback we have received is highly complimentary of the Hazlewood facilities including the excellent food and the service provided. We would have no hesitation in recommending Hazlewood Castle Hotel as a venue for a variety of functions and if the opportunity arises my wife and I would hope to visit you again to celebrate future anniversaries.

A big thank you
Hello there I would just like to say a big thank you to your staff we stayed at the hotel last Friday for our friends wedding it was so special . Also clare has been so very helpfull from when I phoned to ask about staying and all of the paperwork side. The room was so fantastic 'we also had a meal on Friday night in the restaurant it was the best meal we had ever had so well done to the chef and for the breakfast service can you say thanks to them also. Please thank clare she is an asset to you .

It was such a magical day
Just wanted to say a BIG THANK YOU you to all at Hazelwood Castle for helping to make Kelly & Chris's wedding day just PERFECT.
