An amazing wedding venue that you can reallly make
We got married at Hargate Hall on 28 April 2012, and wanted to write a quick post to describe our experiences Hiring Hargate Hall for your wedding is like hiring a big country house for a weekend which you can do whatever you like with - picking our own decorations; getting our own beer barrels, champagne and wine (without paying corkage!); choosing our own suppliers and running our own evening buffet to keep costs down; flexible owners who are generally quite relaxed about how we used the space to make it our own; and also not having to turn the music off at a specific time in the main Hall (we partied until 3am!). However if you want a slick wedding where you can choose from various venue-provided options with everything organised for you, then this isn't the venue for you. You should choose Hargate Hall if you want to make your wedding completely unique, be able to run it completely how you want over a whole weekend (Friday to Monday) and to have a lot of your guests staying onsite. For us it meant more effort, but a lot more reward too, which was echoed by many of our guests - many of who said it was one of the best weddings they'd been too. It's also a great venue if you have lots of children at the wedding - with ample space for a bouncy castle, for running around and with lots of toys available too. Anyway, to finish up, this is a great venue for creating a really unique and special wedding and we would definitely recommend it! We had the best weekend of our lives.

What an amazing venue
Just stayed for 3 nights in the Hall for my sisters wedding. What an amazing venue to hold a special event and have everyone together in one place for more than just 1 day. My 4 year old was in her element also. Your hospitality was very welcome also. Thanks!!!!!

Julie and Anthony. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your help before and during our wedding. We and our guests had such a great time. We received so many lovely comments about the venue and the day. Lots of the compliments are down to the relaxed atmosphere and also because we could really put our own stamp on the day. Wedding Weekend
Thank you for a wonderful wedding weekend, you were extremely helpful and the people who you recommended for the food, marquee etc were outstanding. Everyone thought the idea of having the whole place for our party was excellent, the accommodation worked out very well, the 40+ kids had a great time first with a party and meal arranged by local teachers and also in the play room. Most people stayed for the Sunday and went on some good walks in the local area.

Hi there - It's been a while since the wedding now but I just wanted to say thanks for everything. The hall was perfect and in such a stunning setting everybody just loved it. The rooms really make the whole place work as a venue and I just have such good memories of not only the day but also the Sunday when we got the hog roast in and all sat around the fireplace in the main hall drinking wine, eating delicious porkand chatting till the early hours - fantastic.
