Overlooking one of London’s most secluded Royal Parks, Hampton Court House is a stunning Georgian mansion set within nine acres of enchanting 18th Century gardens. With unique architectural features and superbly well-maintained rooms, this is the perfect venue for civil ceremonies, weddings and both private and corporate functions.
Completed in 1757, the house was once described as ‘an elegant and recherché mansion, suitable for a wealthy merchant Prince’. Today the house boasts a stunning main hall, conservatory, theatre, dining room and a plethora of exquisitely decorated private rooms.
The landscaped sunken gardens were designed by the famous astronomer Thomas Wright. Providing a wonderfully private and romantic environment, the gardens contain several magnificent features, including a winter garden with palm trees, a heart shaped lake and an enchanting shell lined grotto. Ideal for couples or groups of up to 10 people, this intimate grotto is available for private dining throughout the year.
Hampton Court House is 15 miles from Heathrow and 11 miles from the centre of London. The nearest station is Hampton Court which has direct trains from London Waterloo. The house also has plenty of parking and helipad.

EXCELLENT VENUE, GREAT STAFFI wanted to say a huge thank you to the team at HCH for making our big day so special. Specifically Di and her husband worked extremely hard leading up to the day and on the day itself to make sure it went as smoothly as possible. They are both an asset to the school.
When I started viewing venues a year ago the main aspect that used to put me off was the Events Manager, when I visited HCH though I liked Di straight away-she was helpful, polite and had great ideas. Above all else her attitude was positive and not arrogant. A lot of venue Event Managers in the Richmond borough area are of the angle that potential clients should fit round their thoughts and ideals whereas at HCH the emphasis really is on making the day as special as possible for the clients.
I feel so lucky to have hired HCH and been able to get married there. I grew up in Teddington and all these years I never knew a gem like the school existed!

Fires created a very welcoming atmosphereDear Sarah
Would you be kind enough to pass on a very sincere thank you to Dee and her husband for the professional and helpful way in which they helped to organise my son's wedding on Saturday 17th September. Despite some rather unpredictable weather we were able to enjoy the reception and when the sun did shine, the grounds were lovely. Although it was September the fires added an extra warmth and helped create a very welcoming atmosphere, whilst the conservatory and house looked very attractive in the evening light.
I am sure that when Jonathan and Nicola return from their honeymoon they will write to convey their thanks, but I wanted Dee to know how thrilled we were with the reception.
