Summary information

The southern wing, entered via the western porch, comprises the Red and Yellow Galleries and the Library. It can cater for up to 130 for a formal meal and 300 for more informal functions. The Red Gallery and the Library are licensed to hold wedding ceremonies so if you are not keen about the traditional service why not exchange vows in the beautifully proportioned mahogony Library or the majestic charm of the Red Gallery. In the evening the southern wing is perfect for a party with a band or a disco in the Yellow Gallery leaving the Library and the Red Gallery free for the bar and conversation. The northern suite, entered via the eastern door, can cater for a maximum of around 70 for formal sittings and up to 180 for a 'party style'. The beautiful oak panelled Dining Room is the centerpiece with the Morning Room and the Family Library completing the suite. Both suites lend themselves to evening parties with ample space for bands or discos, bars and seating areas.

      We got married at Grittleton House a few years ago, it couldn't have been more perfect! Absolutely stunning venue and very reasonably priced too :)

      My sister got married 2 years ago, we live in berkshire, but fell so in love with grittleton and the grounds that we are also getting married at grittleton house, for our perfect wedding :-)

      The house and gardens are simply stunning, its a huge victorian mannor house. If you plan to be king and queen for a day then this is just the place.
