Greenbank Hotel

The Greenbank Hotel offers opportunities for unique, beautiful and romantic weddings. As Falmouth’s only hotel on the banks of the Harbour, with compelling views, a 17th century granite quay and private beach, the possibilities are endless.

Our team are trained and experienced in putting together special days according to each individual’s needs. If you prefer, we can even lend our experience in planning flowers, decorations, cars, entertainers, cakes and photographers for example, and a quote for a complete package.

The Greenbank Hotel is Falmouth’s oldest hotel and steeped in history. Parts of the original building and the hotel’s private quay, date back more than 300 years. All of our function rooms overlook the harbour and are the ideal setting for photographs. We even have access to our own small sandy beach.

THE RIVERBANK SUITE - can comfortably accommodate up to 90 people dining or for a civil ceremony. There is a bar, dance floor, balcony and spectacular views of the harbour. THE SUNDECK - is a beautiful setting for parties of up to 16 people. The Greenbank Hotel is licensed for Civil Ceremonies - offering a popular alternative to a church or registry office. Overlooking Falmouth Harbour, this fine and historic hotel is a perfect venue for your ceremony, prior to enjoying a fabulous reception in one of our two function suites. The Sundeck can accommodate a maximum of 25 guests. The Riverbank Suite can host a maximum of 90 guests.

      Instantly loved it
      From the first time we walked into The Greenbank we felt comfortable and well looked after. The process of planning and preperation was easy and at no point did i get stressed out. The food was fab and everyone complimented on it, Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and they were all really kind and helpful. We would definately reccommend the greenbank to anyone!

      The most amazing day!
      Wedding coordinater, Claire, put so much hard work into making our wedding day special. She was so helpful which I really appreciated as it kept me calm too! All staff acted very professionally thus ensuring that everything went smoothly and it kept the day so relaxed and enjoyable. The food was beautiful, everyone was singing the praised of the head chef. We had an amazing day and it really did exceed any expectations we had. We really recommend this venue!

      The perfect day we dreamed of...
      The service we received was outstanding from start to finish. The wedding co-ordinater''s professionalism and excellent organisational skills made the planning and set up stages incredibly easy and relaxed for us. The service we received on the day from all hotel staff was exceptional and made the day run smoothly. The attention to every last detail enabled us to have the perfect day we dreamed of.
