Amazing venue with great food & service
When we first came to GHM we instantly fell in love with the place. It has wonderful character with a modern finish, but also 27 rooms which means that if your guests stay there you have the whole place to yourselves. When planning the wedding there was nothing that staff would not do and they were all so helpful. When the big day arrived all of our high expectations were exceeded. Service was first class and the food top drawer (150 to our sit down). The evening buffet was sublime and the DJ that they provided brilliant - everyone was dancing all night. We had the best day imaginable and a lot of this was due to the venue, it was simply brilliant. I am so glad that we stumbled across it and I could not imagine that getting married anywhere else would have been nearly as good.

Brilliant Wedding Venue
Our daughter Nicky got married at Great Hallingbury Manor in November. This was a beautiful setting with far more character than other venues we had looked at. Our wedding co-ordinator Rachel was very supportive in the months leading up to the big day, and was on hand throughout the wedding day to ensure that Nicky and Adam had the wedding they wanted - relaxed and informal. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was superb - with seconds!! - and the disco was brilliant, the dance floor never empty, and the DJ even got cries for several encores after the 'last dance'. The bridal suite and guest rooms are beautiful. Many guests stayed overnight and it was great to talk over breakfast and hear that everyone had enjoyed the wedding.

Perfect Wedding Reception
We had a fantastic wedding reception at Great Hallingbury Manor back in October. So far as we were concerned, it could not have gone any better and really surpassed our expectations. We have received lots of positive comments on the venue and in particular how delicious the wedding breakfast was. We were amazed by our stunning wedding cheese cake which Great Hallingbury Manor organised for us. We emailed some example pictures that we had found on the internet of the sort of thing we wanted (basically large cheeses arranged on top of each other in the manner of a tiered wedding cake) and when we saw the cake on the day it was much better than anything we had seen before. The DJ was also great - one of our guests said to us that it was the best wedding reception music that they had heard at any wedding. He certainly managed to keep everyone on the dance floor from beginning to end. Rachel, our wedding organiser, was on-hand throughout the day to make sure things ran smoothly which we really appreciated. All of the other staff that we encountered were friendly and keen to make sure everything went to plan. Great Hallingbury Manor also recommended an excellent photograher to us - Simon Goold at Xpose Photography. Simon did a fantastic job and we could not be more pleased with our wedding photos.

A perfect day to remember
I got married at Great Hallingbury Manor in October. We had an amazing day and we could not fault a thing. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to Rachel, the wedding organiser and I did not worry about anything on the day. The ceremony was perfect in the Oak room and the wedding breakfast and evening reception really worked well in the restaurant. The food was wonderful, the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Everyone raved about the DJ and the dance floor was full all night. The attention to detail was outstanding I could not have asked for a better day. Thank you so much to Rachel and the team for making my day so special. I would recommend this to anyone who is thinking of getting married here.

Fantastic Day in everyway
Me and my husband Matt had our wedding reception at Great Hallingbury in September 2010. The day was so fantastic in every way possible helped by the efficient and amazing manner of all the staff. The whole experience you get with Great HAllingbury cannot be matched anywhere else - great service and meetings before your wedding (including a menu tasting evening); a warm welcome and environment from all staff to yourself and your guests on the day; jaw dropping venue and photo opportunities, amazing food and unforgetable experiences. Thank you so much to them all for making our wedding day the best of our lives.

A Brilliant Wedding Venue!
We had our wedding on 4th September at GHM. Rachel is such a good wedding organiser, and all the staff were so attentive. Our ceremony was held in the Oak room which is such a lovely room, we then moved to the garden bar for drinks and the grounds for photos.Fantastic backdrop for photos! Food was delicious, exactly as our tasting, all of our guests loved it. The DJ made the evening fab. The rooms are beautiful, and the whole experience was nicely rounded off by breakfast the next day! Everyone enjoyed it, many commented it was the best wedding they had been to. Highly recommend GHM!

Exceeded our wildest expectations
We held our daughters wedding at GHM on the 4th Oct 2010. It could not have gone any better. Ceremony, Wedding breakfast, evening buffet and the DJ all five stars. The staff really seem to care and that is unusual compared to many hotels.Accommodation also excellent. A special mention to Rachel, the wedding organiser who was absolutely brilliant!! and ensured the whole day was perfect. A huge thank you to all at GHM

A perfect Day! All we could have hoped for
On the 19th September we were married at Gt Hallingbury Manor. We are a very fussy couple but GHM stood out from all the local venues intially due to the contemporary and chic style, however with the guidence and service provided by Jill, Rachel and their staff surpassed our expectations.We were in the hands of experts. Nothing was too much trouble. Not only is GHM a beautiful venue it is the people that work there that makes it so special.If I could have my day again I wouldn't change a thing. I can't recommend GHM highly enough. Thank you all at GHM for making our wedding day so perfect!!

Best Venue in the area
Great Hallingbury in our eyes is the best venue we have ever been to everything was 100% to what we were looking for the staff were out of this world the wedding events manager was a dream. We would highly reccommend Great HAllingbury to anyone looking for a venue the service, the food the planning managers EVERYTHING was just perfect. A day we could never have even wished for a something we will remember forever
