Made our stay a delight
Last Saturday my husband and I attended the wedding of our nephew at your venue and I would just like to point out how well we were treated by one and all and especially by Julie who could not do enough to make our stay a delight. As my husband is coeliac our eating out is always a great concern to us but you took this in your stride and produced the best food we have ever seen in a hotel or restaurant for gluten free customers. Goldsborough is a beautiful venue
As the dust of the wedding has now settled and Lucy and Nathan are about to depart on honeymoon, now seemed the ideal time to write to you. Lucy and Nathan asked us to plan a simple marriage, not the usual wedding with all the associated glitz and with your meticulous attention to detail, Margaret and I think that we gave them a day to remember for the rest of their lives. Simple and elegant was the order of the day and that is what you and the rest of the team delivered. During our planning you invited us to Goldsborough to visualise the experience and all that was visualised was exceeded times over. Goldsborough is a beautiful venue and certainly lived up to all our expectations. A special thanks to chef as the food was excellent and indeed to all of the staff at Goldsborough for their efforts. Our perfect wedding day
Thank you so much for all you did to plan and arrange for our perfect wedding day on 30th July this year. From booking the Hall (very early on in the proceedings) to checking-out, all the staff were models of efficiency and professionalism. The Hall looked stunning on the day, the food was exceptional and the staff on the bar were friendly and cheerful. Many of our guests commented on the superlative food (especially the to-die-for chocolate fondant) and the superb service they received. What a breath of fresh air it was to deal with happy waiting staff who seemed to enjoy their jobs and couldn’t do enough for you. Fantastic! All the rooms were stunningly presented and breakfast the next day finished off the weekend perfectly. We would heartily recommend the Hall to prospective couples. We could not have wished for a better venue
Katharine and the team at Goldsborough Hall, thank you for all your help and assistance on our wedding day. We had the most perfect day and we loved every minute of it. We couldn’t have wished for a better venue. Goldsborough Hall was perfect. All our guests commented how beautiful the Hall and the surrounding gardens were. The night in your beautiful bedrooms just finished the day off nicely. Please pass on our compliments to the chef. The food was outstanding and all our guests enjoyed it.
