Welcome to Ghyll Manor, an exquisite oak-beamed 17th century country house hotel nestled in the heart of the countryside in the pretty village of Rusper.

Boasting stunning original features throughout and nestled in 40 acres of private, tranquil grounds, Ghyll Manor has beautifully landscaped gardens, green lawns and a shimmering lake. The 29 individually designed guest rooms range from charming four-poster rooms to more contemporary accommodation, all are fully equipped and many have wonderful views of the hotel gardens. The fabulous restaurant offers classic dishes with a contemporary twist.

The Hotel is licensed to hold Civil Ceremonies, with a capacity of up to 120 guests and you can also enjoy your reception for up to 200 people. There are a choice of two charming locations within the Hotel – Hunsdon Hall and the Terrace Room, you can even choose to have your reception in a marquee in the stunning grounds.

      The venue was perfect
      The venue was perfect and the weather made it blissful. Everyone was impressed by the rooms given to them. During the wedding breakfast the staff were very attentive and the head waiter/toastmaster was so helpful all the way through. Lots of people have since made comments on the lovely food at lunch.

      An amazing day to remember
      We would like to say a BIG thank you to you all for your hard work in organising our wedding day on the 30th July. We had an amazing day to remember, everything ran like clockwork that we felt very relaxed throughout and so did our guests.       To all at Ghyll Manor, We want to say a huge thank you to everyone for giving us the most incredible day on 21st August.       Loved every second of it!
      The day was perfect and we both loved every second of it! The room looked amazing and the timing for the whole day was brilliant - Andy was great.       Amazing venue!
      Everyone at Ghyll Manor worked so hard to make it lovely for us. It's a 3* hotel but I'd actually say it's like a 4*! We're already planning our 10yr Anniversary party the hotel - any excuse to go back and celebrate!

      Ghyll was perfect from start to finish!
      The day went perfectly froms start to finish and although it rained I don't think anyone took much notice of the weather. The room looked stunning and we had lots of comments. Everyone that was at the wedding have said that it was the best wedding they have been to.

      Everything went without a hitch!
      Ghyll Manor provided us with the most fantastic wedding day, everything went without a single hitch. The food was excellent and the staff very attentive throughout the whole day - it's worth us mentioning Antony, who'd we'd like to give a special thank you to, he was with us every step of the way to offer support and look after our needs, my new husband was especially grateful to him for making him feel at ease - he was very nervous! We were lucky to have some sunshine so that we could enjoy the beautiful grounds. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the day, especially our parents who stayed the night, they were very impressed with their rooms - as were we. Thank you for your expertise, it wouldn't have happended so smoothly without you.

      A beautiful venue with faultless service
      Thank you Ghyll Manor! The day was fantastic and the staff throughout the hotel were faultless. Please pass special thanks to Andy who looked after us through the wedding breakfast and throughout the night. He couldn’t do enough for us and made sure everything ran very smoothly.
