Dear Caroline...I'm writing to thank you for the amazing day you put on for us at Englemere on Saturday 2nd October 2010 (I know, months ago!!). Even though time has passed the memories certainly haven't faded. You and your team - Alan in particular did a fantastic job with the seamless organisation both before and during the day. We had so many compliments about the venue, the food, the timings...everything. It really was excellent all round and people still talk about it now which is so lovely. The function went without a hitch, the meal was delicious, hot and beautifully served, and the Englemere team were so helpful. Every detail was covered right down to one of the staff straighting out the train on my dress! Saturday 9th October
Our daughter Julia's wedding and reception was held at Englemere last Saturday and we wish to thank you and all your team for the hard work that you put into making it such a memorable occasion for us all. The venue was superb, the catering was first class amd the service was excellent. We have been to many such functions and we must say that this was of the highest standard. Your waiting staff were so efficient, well skilled and most importantly all of such pleasant demeanour. It was as a pleasure to be served by such a competent crew. Alan controlled events throughout the day like a well-oiled machine but we never felt rushed which was a great achievement bearing in mind that you had to set up and change the Council room three times over and we found him working behind the bar for the evening session. We had a wonderful day one of which were able to enjoy to the full.

You may already know that the Father of the Bride made special reference to 'the outstanding team' at Englemere in his speech. He said that Caroline and Alan were professional, supportive, calm and re-assuring from beginning to end and their experience and guidance were invaluable. Caroline your patience, advice, and planning skills leading up to the day were hugely appreciated. Alan the day worked seamlessly without any apparent effort and that fact played a huge part in the relaxed and happy atmosphere which was there throughout. Many people commented not only on the smoothness of what went on but also the quality and appropriatness of many of the details - details which you suggested in many cases. We always remember Englemere with huge affection.
