truly kentish, rural charm.
Beautifully relaxed atmosphere, comfortable rooms, in a quintessentially kentish setting and quiet rural location. Hosted by friendly, efficient staff who made our stay truly memorable: from a cozy intimate family meal on the eve of our wedding, to the wedding day itself, and the breakfast together the next day. Would recommend this venue to anybody. Our friends and family are all still talking about this hidden gem of a place.

We challenge you to find better!
‘We married outside on the Saturday, having booked rooms for the family to stay on the Friday too. Our planning with Simon started a good few months in advance but he held our hands every part of the way, from our booking to our departure as Mr & Mrs J on the Sunday morning. In the main we used Elvey's recommended partners from florist to caterer to photographer-the whole experienced & team was very 'joined up' from start to finish. You could tell that even the Registrar's enjoyed their visits to Elvey Our only recommendation is for you to book early-otherwise you will miss out! Maybe our paths will cross with yours if you sample Sunday lunch or a weekend break- as we know for sure that we will return! Sincere thanks to the whole Elvey team’ Paul & Vicki Jeffreys

Perfick!
We held our wedding at Elvey Farm in early August and could not have been happier with our choice of venue. A beautiful setting, luxurious rooms and a friendly, attentive team of people all made for a truly wonderful day. Simon coordinated everything with such confidence and precision, ensuring the whole day went smoothly, keeping us calm and allowing us to really relax and enjoy ourselves. A number of us stayed at Elvey the night before and had dinner in the restaurant - not only was the food absolutely outstanding, the service was excellent and it's worth noting how accommodating they were of such a large group! Our whole experience of Elvey Farm has been fantastic and we wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend them.

Summer Wedding at Elvey Farm
I had my (oh and my partners..) wedding at Elvey Farm in August 2011. I honestly couldn't have chosen a better venue. We were looking for an informal, friendly country venue where our friends and family could stay and Elvey Farm fitted the bill perfectly. The staff were friendly and welcoming and always seemed to be there when you needed them, but in the background when you didn’t. Simon especially helped the day run smoothly. All the guests loved the venue, especially the surrounding fields which were enjoyed by the children. I got married outside and I didn’t stop smiling the whole day. I got ready in the fantastic location of the Oast house, which helped to separate me from the final preparations and helped to calm me down. Elvey Farm also has some great locations for photographs. We also stayed the night in the new Canterbury Suite which was beautifully decorated. After such a wonderful, but long day we appreciated the massive bath tub (oh and the hot tub)! If you book your wedding at Elvey you won’t be disappointed.

Amazing venue, Amazing location Amazing day!!
Wow. Yes that may be a funny way to start a review but thats the word that comes to mind when i think of Elvey Farm. The venue is truely stunning, all rooms are perfect and the staff are 100% professional, Simon and Jeff are fantastic hosts, our wedding day was truely magical & it was largely down to Simons fantastic orginisation. We would recommend Elvey to anyone who wants a farytale countryside wedding, no one does it better than Elvey. Thank you Simon, Jeff & all the staff at Elvey for creating a Amazing day for us!

Flawless, Kentish gem...
Elvey Farm won us over immediately. Simon (one of the owners) was wearing a laid-back pair of ‘havainas’ (the cool ‘backpacker-esque’ flip flops) when we first visited. That appealed to us: very relaxed, very friendly and very welcoming. But the easy-going and approachable demeanour came with a very organised and comforting attitude towards the organisation of our big day. Simon was always on top of things and made the administration of organising the wedding a pleasure. The venue itself is stunning. If you want somewhere that shows of the best of Kent, you couldn’t ask for more. Simon and Geoff keep the place in immaculate condition. Having the whole place to ourselves was a massive plus: much better sharing a large venue with others. The grounds outside the front of the “farm” are perfect for canapés and drinks after the ceremony (which, incidentally, you can have outside if the weather holds up). Clouds and rain loomed menacingly on the morning of our wedding, but Simon was happy to leave it to the very last second before choosing inside or out. He says the one thing he can’t control is the weather, but I’m not sure even that’s true as his willingness to leave the decision to the last minute paid off, and we ended up having a lovely outdoor ceremony. The marquee is very classy, with decent flooring (including the dance floor). It opens-up beautifully to a very large paddock, where guests can mingle on bales of hay if you like! We really can’t fault Elvey Farm as a wedding venue: both from the point of view of the venue itself and from Simon and Geoff’s down-to-earth, friendly and can-do management of your special day. Ten out of ten.

Great place for a wedding!
Lee and I had a fab wedding at Elvey Farm and Simon and Geoff were very supportive in all ways. Just a quick note that a bottle of wine or some rose petals on the honeymoon suite bed would have been a nice touch. But apart from that, it was amazing. Every detail catered for and our family and friends throughly enjoyed the day. Unusual pictures as well that we will treasure forever! Thank you!

Beautiful and welcoming venue
We had our Civil Partnership here in September 2010 and Simon, Geoff and their team could not have done any more for us. Nothing was ever too much trouble and they were paramount to our day being as wonderful as it was. Elvey Farm really is the location dreams are made of and we knew the moment we drove up the winding lane we had found our venue. Our Wedding Day was exactly as we had hoped and Simon and the team worked hard to ensure everything was just perfect. We hope to be regular visitors to Elvey Farm and just know we will be welcomed with open arms.

Fantastic location, outstanding service!
Nothing was too big or too small for the guys at Elvey Farm and they made our Wedding day not only complete, but memorable and stress free from day one. Words alone cannot describe the beauty of Elvey Farm, it has to be seen first hand. From the location to the food and everything in between, Elvey Farm was, in a word, perfick!

A wonderful day
We married at Elvey on August 21st this year and i can honestly say it was the happiest day of my life. The farm is such an amazing venue and the owners are such wonderful people who helped our day go without a hitch, even when my bridesmaids dress zip broke! Couldn't recommend further.

Beautiful kentish location for a wedding
Elvey Farm is a lovely Kentish location for a wedding. Simon and Jeff were great throughout the lead up to the event and I felt totally calm on the day knowing that everything was in hand! Being local resident to the area it was a natural choice for my civil ceremony. Views of the moon from the hot tub on the wedding night were particularly special!

we got married at elvey farm in august 2010, our day was perfect from start to finish, amazing food, amd we were looked after by the wonderful staff. in relaxed and beautful surroundings. nothing to much trouble. all we wanted and so much more..
