Everything from start to finish was perfect. They fully looked after all our guests for two days. Just amazing

I booked Sheila through recommendation from a friend, and she was amazing, went above and beyond on the run up and on the day, helped my bridesmaids and kids in to their outfits, helped me in to my dress, made sure we all had our jewellery, perfume etc on, made sure I had something to eat, (all the little things that you forget when there is so much going on) kept me calm in the middle of the chaos when I was getting overwhelmed. Kept everyone in check with timings.Sheila was easy to talk to, kind, caring, funny, down to earth and just felt like she was one of our guests, the best money I spent on a service for the wedding and highly recommended

Springkell is quite simply the crème de la crème of wedding venues — but what truly sets it apart is that it’s not just a wedding day, it’s a full experience. We stayed for two nights, and it made everything feel so much more special and relaxed. Starting with the Friday, we had an ice-breaker meal with our guests, which was such a lovely way to bring everyone together before the big day. It really set the tone for the whole weekend. The setting itself is stunning, and the house has this perfect balance of elegance and warmth — it feels luxurious, but still welcoming and homely. What made it truly exceptional, though, was the staff. They were absolutely incredible. They had this amazing ability to always be there when needed, but never intrusive — everything just flowed effortlessly. It genuinely felt like they were part of the celebration rather than just working behind the scenes. One moment that really stood out was when they gave the bride a guard of honour — such a special, personal touch that meant so much and perfectly sums up the care and attention they put into everything. The whole team made us feel completely at ease from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble, and every detail was handled seamlessly, allowing us to just enjoy every second. The food was exceptional, the rooms were beautiful and comfortable, and having everyone together for the whole weekend made it an unforgettable experience. If you’re looking for more than just a wedding venue — if you want a full, immersive, memorable experience — Springkell is everything you could possibly hope for and more.

Tommy and Gareth My husband and I got married at The Fenwick Hotel yesterday, and we were delighted with everything. At every stage of the planning, Chloe, the Wedding Coordinator, was helpful, friendly and very professional. Nothing was ever too much trouble. The day itself ran like clockwork. EVERY member of staff from housekeeping, kitchen and restaurant, bar and waiting staff were exemplary! They clearly know their roles inside out, and all of our guests spoke so highly of every part of our big day. Often, Wedding food can be mass produced, luke warm and mediocre at best, however, ours was excellent. The food was served piping hot, delicious and our guests commented on just how good it was in comparison to other weddings they had attended. We cant thank Chloe and the team there enough for going above and beyond to ensure every aspect of the day was catered for, and handled meticulously. Thank you all. We would absolutely recommend Fenwick Hotel as a wedding venue.

My husband and I were planning our wedding from Chicago and landed on getting married in Scotland where we got engaged. We fell in love with Auchen Castle! The staff was absolutely amazing. They were flexible, kind, helpful and took excellent care of us and our guests. Fiona made sure I had everything I could possibly want or need the day of! Food was great and our guests loved their unique rooms they got to stay in at the castle. It was an absolutely magical day. Food was fabulous and the fireworks package we chose was incredible. If I could do it all over again I would in a heartbeat!

We got married at Kinmount House in May 2025. We had approx 95 at the ceremony and 105 for the dinner. We can’t put into words how incredible the whole weekend went. Our guests were wowed by Kinmount and the wonderful team that helped make the day run so smoothly. We hired the Croft the night before and we rented all the accommodation on site for guests. The ceremony was held in the ballroom which was followed by a drinks reception in the Italian gardens then terrace area of the Pavillion. The dinner was in the Pavillion. We had a lot of moving parts on the day, especially with live music from various different groups, but nothing was too much and the day went without a hitch. We managed to get photos in the Italian gardens, steps, boathouse and in front of the house at the swing and still had time to enjoy the drinks reception without feeling rushed. When we visited the venue we blown away but the actual weekend exceed all of our expectations. From the friendly staff and great food the night before at the croft to the delicious breakfast for those staying in the main house and beautiful surroundings inside the house to the excellent food and service on the wedding day to the little touches we cannot fault anything and wish we could do it all again. Special thanks to Lauren who ensured the day went so smoothly and did so with a calm and friendly manner. Also thanks to Leeanne and Connor and Justine who played an important part over the weekend. Fiona and George were very welcoming to us and our guests and have established something very special. If you are considering booking Kinmount for your wedding do not hesitate as it is the perfect venue.

Fantastic venue with professional staff, nothing is a bother with lots of help and advice. Very flexible possibilities are endless no set rules, It's your day to do as you wish with exclusive use of the venue. scenery is fantastic from the sea to the mountains and wildlife make the most special photos truly magical that touched the hearts of ours Guests. The weather did help as it was tropical. We used as many suppliers on the island as possible which the venue staff can help with. If you want somewhere different that's not your usual hotel venue with set routine this is your place , Just read the reviews on the website.

Heather and team at Friars Carse made our day very special and stress free. Right from the first meeting with Heather we were put at our ease and were very accommodating with our requests for different off menu meals. On the day itself Heather and team kept us on time for everything and any requests were no problem and dealt with our vendors so that we didn't have to worry. We had a wonderful stress free day and the grounds were fantastic for our pictures.

Our wedding day was perfect and stress free thanks to the amazing staff at Easterbrook. From our initial phone call to the big day, there was no task too big for the team and everyone was so helpful. We truly had the best day possible at the most amazing venue with absolutely gorgeous food. Thank you to the whole Easterbrook team for making our day so special!

Everything was wonderful and so relaxing. Atmosphere was so laid back,calm All the staff were so lovely from first booking in to the moment of leaving. all my nervous feelings were calmed. staff made sure everything went to plan on the day. The photographer with the wedding package was so professional and funny. All the wedding officials were wonderful and chatty. The food and drink was so delicious. The breakfast was vast and plenty of choices.
