Dove Barn has a low key but enviable reputation for providing brides with relaxed, informal weddings in beautiful surroundings.

Situated amidst the rolling wheat fields of South Suffolk, Dove Barn feels rather ‘well hidden’. It is, in fact, just thirty minutes from Colchester, Ipswich and Bury St Edmunds. Cambridge is one hour away and Central London is just over 2 hours.

The combination of two inter-connecting barns and a large, sheltered terrace offers brides the opportunity to organise their special day in their own way. With features like the minstrels gallery, large open fire and sprung dance floor Dove Barn is perfect for celebrations of 35 to 150 people throughout the year.

Our team is always on hand to advise, but there is no house style at Dove Barn. We believe it is your special day and that it should reflect your style, not ours! In keeping with our relaxed style we only do one wedding each weekend, giving  you exclusive use of the venue from midday on Friday  to midday on Sunday.

If you’re looking for an informal, country wedding then Dove Barn has all the ingredients to make your wedding  a perfect day.
