More than I could ever hope for
I got married 30th April 2010. I currently live in Scotland so most of my correspondance was through email and telephone calls. Michelle Melia was absolutely wonderful and incredibly supportive always had time to answer my queries and I'd also like to say a big Thank you to Jannine French and all the staff who looked after us and our guests on the big day. It truly was our dream day. The Hotel and food was absolutely perfect. Would recommend it to anyone.

Happy with venue
Married in 2008 and had our reception in the ariel suite. Loved the art deco of the building. MIchelle Melia very helpful and supportive with all planning. Would recommend this hotel to anyone planning wedding.

Happy with venue
Was married in 2008 and had our reception in the ariel suite. The events coordinator Michelle Melia was very helpful and supportive throughout all the planning. Would recommend this hotel to anyone planning wedding. Loved the art deco of the hotel.

Amazing
We got married at the Crowne Plaza, Speke, in October and had both the ceremony and reception there. The day was fantastic, all our guests have been telling us how good a day it was and that the food was delicious, both for the wedding breakfast and for the buffet in the evening, and there was plenty of it! We could not fault the staff, they worked so hard all day and made everything perfect for us, especially Michelle and Janine. They saw to everything, even down to looking after our almost-two-year-old son who had tonsilitis and was crying during the ceremony! The features of the hotel look stunning in our photographs, we couldn''t have chosen a better venue. We also stayed in the Ambassador Suite on our wedding night which was amazing. We thoroughly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a venue for their wedding ceremony or reception it was a perfect day!

Excellent Wedding Venue
From the first time we viewed the hotel right through to our wedding day the service we received was excellent. Both Michelle & Janette were really helpful along with all the other hotel staff. The hotel is a beautiful venue and looks fantastic as a backdrop to our photo''s and the Ambassador Suite is amazing! We had loads of good comments from our wedding guests regarding the food for both the wedding breakfast and the evening buffet. I would definitely recommend the Crowne Plaza, Liverpool John Lennon to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

Excellent
During the last few weeks the hotel has changed from a Marriot to the Crowne Plaza. The wedding co-ordinator Michelle was superb, constantly keeping us infomred of updates, attending to our every need and providing updated copied of the agenda and itinery including every small detail from SWAG's to coffees. The venue is superb and fantastic for your photos. From the old plane parked up otside the hotel to the art deco twisting staircases and large globe feature near the restaurant. The ariel suite is a fantastic room to use, with a large function room and private lounge/bar area, complemented by a garden terrace for those who want to smoke or grab some fresh air. The daytime service and food was fantastic, the meal was excellent and well worth the money. The evening buffet was superb, one of the best buffets I have ever seen and everyone commented on how good it was. The Ambassador suite really made our stay, its such a fantastic room, fit for a star We were the stars that day. Would recommend to everyone. Thanks to all the staff, especially Michelle the co-ordinator, Tony the toastmaster and the hotle porters.

An amazing hotel for a wedding!
Choosing the Liverpool Marriott Hotel South was the best decision we could have ever made for our wedding. From day one the wedding co-ordinator was so helpful and organised - making the process of organising the reception so easy! I had 100% faith that they would make our day perfect and they did! Plus the fact that the hotel rivals any other Liverpool hotel in price, believe me I checked them all out and no one provided the quality at the price that the Marriott South did!! The wedding coordinator took down every tiny detail of how we wanted the day to go and made sure it was just perfect! The reception room was set exactly how I had asked it be, the staff were so attentive and polite and well trained. The food was amazing - I worked in a hotel for years and the food was crap, so I did worry, but the Marriott really impressed my fussy palette, 5* for the food! The whole day from start to finish was picture perfect, from the red carpet champagne arrival to the amazing Aerial suite, to the gorgeous honeymoon suite - just everything, we never wanted it to end. The staff worked so hard and made sure we never wanted for a thing - special thanks to Michelle and Janine who put 100% into making the day so amazing. The hotel is due to change name into the Crown Plaza on 1st Aug 2008 and I am told the same staff will be working there, so I have faith that this venue will continue to be an amazing good value wedding venue! I give the Marriott Liverpool South 5* for everything as a wedding venue!

Perfect
We got married at the Marriott on the 8th September 07. Everything was perfect! The hotel is beautiful full of Art Deco features which looks stunning on photographs. The food was perfect and served wonderfully. The staff are all fantastic, Michelle, James and Lorraine all made our day run without a hitch. They looked after both of us so well and made sure everything was set up as we had asked. They made our day one that we will remember for the rest of our lives, the best day in our lives by far, made so perfect with the dedication, meetings and help throughout the planning and the day from all involved there. We cannot thank them or praise them enough. If you are looking for a perfect venue then this is it!

14th September 2007. Thanks to Michelle Melia and all staff involved for making my wedding reception better than I could ever have imagined.
I would just like to say a huge thank you to Michelle Melia wedding co-ordinator who was an absolute star. Michelle couldn't do enough for us from the minute we booked 2 years previous to the day of the reception. Everything was perfect,really lovely venue, brilliant dj, beautiful food - the guests are still talking about it now! I would definately recommend the Marriot Hotel South to celebrate your big day with family and friends.

Superb!
What a fantastic place! Michelle Melia-a star! The day could not have been any more perfect, apart from the weather! All Staff were excellent and the service too. Would highly recommend the Marriott South to anyone. Wonderful.

WOW!
My partner and I really wanted to take some time to heap praise on Michelle Melia in particular and all of the staff at the Liverpool South Marriott for their commitment, drive and enthusiasm both on the day of our Civil Partnership Ceremony and in all the months, weeks and days leading up to the event. Nothing was too much for them, and even now just thinking back to everything, the hairs on the back of my neck are standing on end at just how absolutely fantastic they were. they simply could not do enough for us, and took time and effort to get to know us and what we wanted out of the day. As mentioned, special praise should go to Michelle for her outstanding hardwork. A complete asset to Marriott Hotels! We should also mention both James and Janine for their commitment and utter professionalism whilst maintaining that personal touch throughout the day. We cannot stress enough how delighted we were ! The day went fantastic with the help of your team. We cannot thank the team enough for making what should always be a special day that little bit extra special!

EXCELLENT
I attended a Wedding at this hotel and it was absolutley excellent we were looked after so much, the food and the service was out of this world I would certainley recommend this hotel.
