A perfect venue for our daughter Rebecca to marry Andy. They had looked at several venues but knew that Crockwell was where they wanted to hold their wedding and were prepared to wait for an available date. How right that decision was! Hermione,Bay and Laura took away all the stress and we were all able to concentrate on the great day and not worry about 'organisational' issues. We were made to feel very special and were able to personalise the day to be exactly what we wanted. the setting, the catering, the attention to detail were all perfect.Having the B and B accommodation added the icing on the cake... we were all very comfortable, well catered for and relaxed. We were very impressed with all the staff team who worked efficiently, discretely and exceptionally well as a team. Thank you all for giving Rebecca, Andy their parents, family and friends such a memorable and perfect day.

      Amazing!
We had our wedding at Crockwell on the 30th of July 2011, and the day went absolutely perfectly. We are certain that it would not have run so smoothly had Hermione and Laura from Crockwell not have been there to ensure that everything worked well. The venue is fabulous, and stunningly picturesque (no photo can manage to capture the atmosphere of the place), a visit really is a must. To be able to stand on the veranda and not see another building was a huge selling point for us, as was having the whole place to ourselves - we really didn't like the idea of being at a venue where several other weddings would be held at the same time. The help, support and flexibility of Hermione was absolutely invaluable and genuinely enabled us both to just relax and enjoy the day. I honestly don't think we would have been able to have done so without someone so completely in control and in charge of the day. Everything to do with the venue on the day just works so well, and appears so effortless (which I am sure it is anything but!). We had our catering done by 'The Chopping Block', who we chose before they became Crockwell's sole supplier. The food was fantastically prepared and presented, and the menu was adapted to our exact requirements. The BBQ in the evening went down a storm with all the guests, and again the staff running the day (Karen & co.) were absolutely impeccable. There is not one single part of us that would even consider doing anything different venue wise, and couldn't possibly recommend Crockwell high enough... If you want your wedding day to be special, this place can't be overlooked.

      An amazing day
For our daughter Stephanie’s wedding to Neal, Crockwell Farm was overwhelmingly their first choice as venue for the reception. From day one, Hermione’s enthusiasm and professional , yet gentle, steer ensured all the early planning stayed on track as we prepared for the big day. Having access to the venue the day before the wedding allowed us to get the set-up and décor just as we wanted it in plenty of time. On the big day with Laura discreetly, yet expertly overseeing, everything worked to perfection. What a day! Such a perfect and memorable setting. From our earlier tastings we already had very high expectations from the catering by ‘Chopping Block’. On the day, these expectations were easily beaten. All the guests were blown away by the quality of the food and fantastic standards of service and delivery. From the canapés through amazing mains to puddings to die for it was ‘wow’ all round. The setting for the adjacent disco and band area was ideal , as was finishing off the evening with the fish and chip van outside on the patio. We took advantage of all the available rooms , which were great, and enjoyed a huge and fantastic family breakfast in the morning. Crockwell Farm, thank you loads.

      Absolutely FANTASTIC!
My wedding was at Crockwell Farm on Saturday 27th August 2011. My husband and I originally picked the venue because of the peaceful setting and the capability to cater for all weathers. These reasons turned out to be just the tip of the iceberg as to why we made the best choice. Bay and Hermione the owners of the venue are just fantastic! Their experience of planning weddings shines through in every detail and everything is done with a smile, I truely felt that the Crockwell could not do enough to make our day exactly how we wanted it to be. We even had a wedding planner on the day to ensure that everything ran smooothly.. The caterers at Crockwell - The Choppng Block were also fantastic they offered such a great variety of choice and even though they catered for over 100 guests the quality was outstanding. We had so many comments from our guests about the WOW factor of Crockwell Farm, we had the whole venue for the whole weekend which just added to the experience of our wedding day and meant that it wasn't all gone in a flash. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crockwell it was the perfect venue and gave us the perfect wedding day.

Wonderful venue and excellent, caring staff
Our Daughter’s wedding (Claire, marrying Carl on 2nd June 2011) turned out to be the perfect day and Crockwell proved to be the perfect venue for the reception. The setting is beautiful, which is really great for the photographs. We were lucky that the weather was superb, so the drinks reception could be held in the garden with the views over the countryside in the background, it was so relaxing. The Crockwell staff are absolutely brilliant, special thanks to Laura, managing the day so that we could relax and enjoy it. Throughout the planning Hermione was always willing to discuss and advise; nothing was too much trouble. The whole day was brilliant. It was lovely to receive great comments from our guests such as “it was the best wedding we’ve ever been to”. The reception and evening catering by the Chopping Block was faultless as well. We highly recommend them. We booked all the rooms at the venue for the night of the wedding, and so also enjoyed the Crockwell breakfast, which is second to none.

      Our Perfect Wedding
We got married at Crockwell Farm 2 weeks ago, and Crockwell Farm made our day so perfect. From the day we booked the venue, Hermione did everything she could to help us. We had quite a bespoke day, including a church wedding in Blakesley, then at Crockwell a Hindu ceremony outdoors and a very different structure to a 'normal' wedding day. When we arrived the day before the wedding, Laura and her team introduced themselves, and immediately took over the setting up for the day. Laura even managed to find time to set up an internet wireless connection so that one of my bridesmaids wouldn't miss Andy Murray play at Wimbledon while she decorated the wedding cake! This just went to show that no job was too big or too small for Laura. On the day of the wedding, Laura managed the day so calmly (even when there were some hiccups!) and with such pleasure, it was a joy to work with her. We would not hesitate to recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a rural, beautiful, well laid out and organised, relaxed, and reliable venue. Thank you Crockwell Farm for making our perfect wedding day come true.

      Beautiful venue & Excellent staff....
...create an amazing day. We were lucky enough to get a date for our reception at Crockwell after a cancellation and Hermoine and her team were fantastic at helping us plan for our wedding in a short length of time, calmly assisting even with our last minute panics and changes! We were put completly at ease by their professionalism and experience. Come the big day the venue looked beautiful and the day went incredibly well without any hitches. This had a lot to do with Laura who managed us superbly throughout the day. Even four weeks later we are still getting messages about what a great day it was and this is due to the hard work and professionalism of the staff at Crockwell, especially the dedicated caterers who all guests agreed were fantastic. I can't recommend this venue highly enough, their team helped make it the the best day of our lives, we'd love to do it all again!

      Perfect wedding, Wonderful Venue.
People told me planning a wedding was very stressful. Not with Crockwell, far from it infact. The team are faultless, and nothing is too much trouble. We only had a small group, and had both our ceremony, and wedding breakfast were in the beautiful barn. A wonderful large T-shaped table made our meal very intimate, and unquine. (we got married in March, and people are still talking about it) .The small touches that Hermoine, and the team add are so lovely, when we retired to our room at the end of an amazing day, some of our flowers had been moved to our room, and our Bride and Groom place settings had been placed beside the bed. I cannot recommend Crockwell enough, just go and see it, I know you'll fall in love with it, just like we did.

      A beautiful and unique venue
My wife and I held our wedding reception at Crockwell on April 30th and it was fantastic. It's set in beautiful countryside, with amazing views and is run but a kind, helpful and friendly team. We had a wonderful time and would happily recommend it to any couple looking for a venue in the area. The food from Chopping Block in particulary was outstanding and many of our guests have commented that it was the best venue/catering they have ever experienced.

Just the most fantastic place and wonderful people
It's hard to put into words just how special a place Crockwell Farm is. My husband and I had a winter wedding at Crockwell at the end of December and the day could not have been more perfect. Hermione, Bay, Laura and the team were always so genuinely welcoming and accommodating which meant we could really be creative in our ideas - allowing us to create a truly personal occasion. The Chopping Block did the catering which is without doubt the best I have ever had at any wedding and all of the other suppliers recommended by Crockwell (Jacqui Egan for hair & make-up and Maureen White for the flowers) were superb. The time, care, attention to detail and hospitality provided by the team at Crockwell, coupled with the astounding natural charm of this venue cannot be over stated – it really is one in a million. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Crockwell to anyone who is thinking of booking it for their wedding – just do it! For us it provided THE most magical venue for our romantic winter wedding, but equally it would be absolutely incredible in the summer. Good luck to anyone thinking of booking Crockwell Farm for their Big Day – you will not regret it!

      Perfect !!!
Crockwell Farm are amazing. My wife and I got married there two months and from the moment we first visited the venue looking for places to host our wedding their service was exceptional. The surroundings are lovely and the staff friendly and helpful. They made everything extremely easy and guided us through the process, from the initial organisation through the day itself. The food on the day was excellent and I really can’t praise the service highly enough – they are super efficient and know exactly what they’re doing so that everything runs smoothly with no problems. I would highly recommend this venue – if you’re considering it as a venue for your wedding then just go for it; you won’t be disappointed and you’ll have the best day of your life
