Sitting in the heart of the only Fruit Tree Maze in the world at the end of a mile long drive, the elegant fan shaped building full of style and drama, is surrounded by beautiful Walled Gardens.
Guests enjoy exclusive use in complete peace and privacy with excellent service however large or small the gathering. With 180 degree views of the gardens, this light and airy room seats up to 120 for a ceremony and reception drinks. The Glasshouse is set up with chairs and tables and has cloakrooms, catering kitchen and bridal dressing room.
Outdoor Weddings in the Maze: Wonderful news! From 2011 following a change in the law, brides in Cheshire may marry outside between April and October. What better way to tie the knot than in a maze.. the only Fruit Tree Labyrinth in the world.. in the Walled Gardens at Combermere Abbey!!
Winter Weddings and smaller Weddings or Receptions: The Glasshouse is perfect for winter weddings and celebrations with small intimate groups of friends and family particularly in January and February when the Pavilion is not available.
The Walled Garden Pavilion - our fabulous reception and dining space for up to 150 is available between 1st March and 31st December. This beautiful building is fully carpeted and equipped with spectacular lighting, tables, chairs, bar, dance floor, cloakrooms and full catering facilities.
Our nominated caterer specializes in an excellent range of menus and budgets, and uses local foods as well as other services.
Our nominated Bar and Beverage team offers a variety of wines, spirits and Combermere Abbey inspired non-alcoholic drinks.
Our dedicated ‘Front of House Manager’ will be on duty throughout the wedding to take care of all the details, leaving you to enjoy the day!
Accommodation on site for up to 49 close family and friends is available in our 5* cottages. A 2 night package includes breakfast hampers and maid service. Additional accommodation is available 4 miles away.
A special hideaway can be rented by the honeymoon couple – a romantic C19 Gothic Lodge on the estate, complete with breakfast hamper and champagne for their bridal night.
