If you want a truly magical venue for your wedding, this is the place. We had the most perfect experience from first viewing all the way through to after our wedding day. When we booked we didn't think it could get more amazing, then we arrived the day before the wedding and saw the new marquee. It's so light, dreamy and feels massive! Anyone who loves the outdoors, will feel at home as soon as you drive through the gates and walk over the bridge. There is even the added bonus of adorable yurts to stay in too! A viewing here is an absolute must as the photos could never do it justice. We can't thank all of the Browning Bros staff (and most importantly Gill) enough for an absolutely perfect day for us and all of our guests 💚

We recently held our wedding at Talbooth and honestly could not have asked for a better venue. From the very beginning of the planning process right through to the wedding day itself, the service was exceptional. Every detail was handled with professionalism, care, and genuine enthusiasm, making the whole experience enjoyable and stress-free! A special thank you must go to Alex, our event coordinator, who was fantastic throughout the planning process. Alex was always helpful, responsive, and reassuring, ensuring everything came together perfectly for us! We’d also like to thank Rachel, who ran the event on the day and did an incredible job keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes so that we could simply relax and enjoy every moment! The food was outstanding and received so many compliments from our guests. We opted for the BBQ and it was absolutely amazing – the quality, presentation, and flavours were exceptional. So many of our guests commented on how delicious the food was and how much they enjoyed it! The grounds are stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. The beautiful setting made for incredible photographs and created a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day! We are so grateful to the entire Talbooth team for helping create such a memorable day. We couldn’t have wished for a more perfect venue and would highly recommend Talbooth to anyone looking for a truly special wedding venue!!!

Your support  to make our day so special was second to none. The venue was stunning ,Your staff were so helpful, so kind , Your staff calmed my nerves down when I had a wobble before the ceremony! Your team made us and our guests feel so welcome!. You were all so organised and professional ! The holiday inn was stunning! you slayyyyed today! Your service was top quality and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing our vision to life! We are so lucky to be able to use your venue. We didn’t see any holiday makers in our photos or in any part of our wedding., your hotel guests were kept discreetly out of the way of our wedding. My partner and I had viewed many venues looking for the ideal place to host the small, intimate wedding that we wanted, but without luck. That was until we met Alex Carr and viewed the wonderful Talbooth House & Spa. Alex went above and beyond to answer all of our questions and help us to plan our special day for August 2025. Our wedding went exactly as we wanted without any issues, largely thanks to the fantastic staff on the day. The food throughout the day was brilliant, and received many compliments from our guests, as did the standard of the rooms, which were well cleaned and luxurious. The wedding was everything that we wanted and more, and we can’t wait to return to celebrate our first anniversary!

From the beginning, Ilze (our wedding manager) was able to accommodate for our every need- including catering for an additional guest half an hour before the ceremony! The hotel was beautiful and filled with historical charm. The food was plentiful and delicious and the whole day flowed without a hitch! All the staff worked with professionalism. The added touches made such a difference: for example- listing the menu choices on the place names meant that guests could remember what they had ordered and moving the decorations from the ceremony to the wedding breakfast and then to the disco made sure we had nothing to worry about. Our photographs were taken in the secluded secret garden, in front of a beautiful foliage covered archway. The day flowed seamlessly and many of my guests told me it was the best wedding they had ever been to!

From our initial visit through to the actual reception date nothing was too much trouble. On the day Michelle was helping lacing me into my dress and stayed late to make sure the meal service was perfect. Stephanie kept us on track with her knowledge and past experience and informative emails. Our day was perfect and all our guests have said what a fantastic day!

Phoebe was amazing and so helpful in organising our wedding. We had lots of last minute changes including changing the whole venue of the wedding and she accommodated us without hesitation. She was warm friendly and efficient and the venue was lovely and met all our needs and more. Could not be happier with how it went, thank you so much!!

We honestly couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Stoke by Nayland Resort. From the moment we started planning right through to the wedding day itself, the entire wedding team were absolutely amazing. They were professional, supportive, and always willing to help with any questions or requests, making the whole process feel so much less stressful. A special mention has to go to Victoria, who was incredible. She was there on the day making sure everything ran exactly to plan and was always at the end of the phone whenever I needed anything in the lead-up to the wedding. Her organisation, reassurance, and attention to detail were invaluable, and she played a huge part in making our day so special. We were also blown away by a lovely surprise from the resort’s social media team, who created a beautiful reel of our wedding. It was such a thoughtful touch and something we never expected. It was wonderful to relive some of those special moments and have another keepsake from the day. Thank you to everyone at Stoke by Nayland for helping create memories that we will cherish forever. Dear Julia, every time we met we always enjoyed the planning process, you made all of those decisions very easy and fun. Your advice certainly came with some great ideas for things that we didn’t even consider. We had a fantastic and very memorable day at The Barn. From the moment we arrived, the setting was absolutely beautiful — peaceful countryside, stunning grounds, and a truly special atmosphere that made the whole day feel magical. The team at Houchins were exceptional from start to finish. They were professional, organised, and incredibly supportive, making sure everything ran smoothly so we could relax and enjoy every moment. Nothing felt rushed, and their attention to detail really showed.
