A Perfect Day!
We had our ceremony and reception here in September. The hotel, setting,and service were perfect and the rooms are gorgeous! Sue the co-ordinator is a huge help and all the staff are really friendly, helpful and efficient. Everything went so smoothly, we couldn't have asked for more - our guests loved the venue and the food and we had the most amazing day.

Generally very good wedding venue
Sue the wedding coordinator is brilliant. Cockliffe House is a very picturesque venue and our marquee was beautiful. Overall we had a great day.

Awesome venue
Our ceremony was at Papplewick Pumping Station just down the road, and we couldn't have hoped for a more perfect venue for the evening do irrespective of it being so close by - having exclusive use of the venue was wonderful, the staff were fantastic and the food was absolutely amazing - several hardened carnivores were enthralled by the steak. All of our little details were looked after - and it's an absolute credit to Sue and her team that we barely noticed the admin of the day - it seemed like an effortless evening do with our friends and family - Couldn't praise more highly

Our wedding was on the 1st September, we had a beautiful day, family and friends loved the locationa and enjoyed their overnight stay with all the amazing individual rooms. The food was beautiful and all staff were friendly. A big thankyou to Sue for all the work she put and all the assistance given before the build up to our big day. We had a lovely day could not of choosen a better location to celebrate our big day. Our big day was perfect!
I have just had my wedding at Cockliffe House on 18th August and it was absolutely incredible! I was so happy with how the day went, the venue looked beautiful, all our guests loved the place and their bedrooms and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. Sue the wedding planner is awesome and puts your mind at rest during all the preparations and on the day. We couldn't have asked for more. Thank you for the most special day of our lives we will never forget it! Mr & Mrs Cooke x

Lovely venue, great wedding day
We had our wedding reception at Cockliffe Country House. We had a fantastic day. The staff were attentive & professional, the food was great & the venue (rooms & grounds) was great for photos. In the build up to the wedding, the staff were approachable and tried to accommodate our wishes wherever possible. The bar closes at midnight which may be an issue for some couples although it wasn't for us.

A WONDERFUL RECEPTION!
We had our evening reception at Cockliffe after getting married abroad. Throughout the run up to the wedding reception Sue (the wedding coordinator) was always extremely helpful, answering all the questions I had. Cockliffe were happy to let us do our own thing in terms of decorations, layout and how the evening would pan out. They also designed a custom Italian style buffet for us at no extra cost. The evening ran without a hitch and all the staff were extremely helpful, polite and friendly. As well as all this, the bedrooms are fabulously decorated and all of our guests thoroughly enjoyed their stay. To sum up it was a wonderful evening and we couldn't have asked for more!

A beautiful location and fantastic service
We cannot praise Cockliffe Hotel enough. The location is perfect for a wedding, with great photo opportunities. The size of the hotel and the flexibility they give you for food and drink was exactly what we wanted for our small ceremony and breakfast and big party at night! The co-ordinator is very organised and will make you feel very confident that your wedding will run smoothly. Having the rooms there meant that we could carry the wedding through to the next morning with some of our guests. We are so pleased we chose Cockliffe as we do not think anywhere else could have provided us with the wedding we wanted, with the great service and beautiful surroundings.

Perfect
The staff are incredibly helpful especially Sue the wedding co-ordinator. We had a fantastic day that was run like clock work, we didn't need to worry about anything. I thoroughly recommend Cockliffe as your wedding venue. p.s. the food was fantastic!

Perfect Day
My wedding reception was held at Cockliffe House on 26th May 2012. From the moment we booked the support and help we had from Sue and Sam was second to none. The venue itself is charming and quirky with all the rooms having a different theme. The food was beautiful and the service was excellent. All in allthe day was perfect and I would have liked to have been able to stay another night to make the most of the place.

Perfect for an intimate wedding
We held both our wedding ceremony and reception here on 27th April 2012. The whole day from start to finish was fantastic. Susan, our wedding planner, was excellent throughout. All our guests commented that the venue was perfect for the amount of people we had (around 50). The food was excellent. My only criticism would be that the evening buffet was not out long enough. Overall, a great venue for an intimate wedding, made to feel welcome, would recommend.

Perfect country house with excellent staff
We got married here on the 14th April 2012. We had a marquee reception for 80 guest with 120 guests in the evening. Cockliffe is an amazing country house, nice size with beautiful surroundings. The staff are the most polite and organised staff we have come across and you couldn’t ask for a better wedding organiser than Sue. She goes out of her way to make the day perfect for you. Thanks to Sue and her staff the day couldn’t have been more perfect.
