We could not have chosen a more perfect venue or experience! All of our guests commented on how good the food was, it was perfectly done. Suzanne our Front of House Manager was especially good and made our day perfect! It was truly exceptional, well done to all involved.

Vicky and I could not have asked for a better wedding and the Clearwell Castle team were fantastic!! I supply catering staff to a lot of companies so I understand the difficulties involved and you were faultless. Amazing Wedding Day
We cant thank Clearwell Castle enough for giving us an amazing wedding day we will always remember, everything was perfect. The guests haven't stopped talking about how wonderful the day and venue was, how gorgeous the food tasted and those who stayed were totally blown away by the spectacular rooms in the castle. Throughout the whole planning we always felt in very good hands and everyone did such a good job of organising everything.

Extremely High Standard
We got married in March 2011 and could not have asked for a better day. Every member of staff at the Castle was polite and went out of their way to fulfil our needs. Everything was kept clean and tidy all day and to an extremely high standard.

Absolutely Amazing
We got married on 12th March 2011 at Clearwell Castle. Many of our guests commented on how well we had done in organsising our wedding at such short notice but we quickly pointed out to them that there was no way we could have done it without the help from the fantastic staff at Clearwell. Having them with us all day made everything run so smoothly and meant we were able to relax and enjoy our special day. I can not thank everyone at Clearwell Castle enough for making our wedding an absolutely amazing day.

Perfect
There is only one word that can describe how we feel about our wedding day 'Perfect'. Our day was so amazing! We got married on 27th March 2011 and from arrival in the cottage to our departure 2 days later the transition from single to married was seamless! The venue is breathtaking, the food was divine and the service was impeccable!!! We had the fairytale dream wedding that we have always wanted; and know that both ourselves and our guests will cherish the day for many years to come!

Simply Amazing
We planned our wedding at Clearwell Castle in just 5 weeks and it was simply amazing. We got married on Tuesday 15th February 2011. Val our wedding co-ordinator was absolutely brilliant and ensured that the whole day went without any problems. She really did look after us and our guests. The food was scrumptious and there was so much of it... I started the day feeling that my dress was slightly loose… which was not the case by the end of the day! We would recommend Clearwell Castle to anyone!!

Amazing
Absolutely perfect in every way- totally exceeded my expectations. Food amazing, staff amazing, castle amazing Word of warning though do not use Lavenders Blue Floristry in Mitcheldean- flowers totally wrong and no reply to several complaints!

Perfect!
My husband and I got married at Clearewell 26th October 2009 and the only way I can describe it is...simply perfect. The staff are amazing, offering outstanding service throughout the whole day and the food is amazing too. Our front of house manager (Sally) could not do enough to make the day go smoothly...even noticing that a guests name was missing from our seating plan- that is how much attention they pay to detail. Nothing was to much, or too little. Our guests commented on the beautiful surroundings and many said how it was the best wedding and venue they had ever been too. Clearwell is worth every penny for your wedding day...it is magical. If you can afford it... book it now! It you can't afford it, save so you can!

AMAZING !!!
The venue is amazing the staff are exceptional. They are very professional and helpful and the service on the day was top class. Everything ran so smoothly and the food was delicious and the service was brilliant. The castle has a wonderful atmosphere and was the perfect choice for our wedding day.
