A big thank you to Nicky and the team from myself, and of course Anna and Chris. The assistance given to us prior to the day was greatly appreciated and, of course, the day itself was definitely a day to remember, wonderful! It should also be said that all staff were extremely courteous from when we first went to view the hotel continuing through to our departure after the reception.

Amazing!!!!
We chose the Cisswood Hotel based on the hotel and its grounds, when we got married on the 30th July we got so much more than what we had booked it for as we managed to have an absolutely amazing wedding outside in the garden under the beautifully made gazebo they have just put in. We really couldn't have chosen a better location to get married. The staff are so appreciative of helping in organising the day that nothing is too big or too small to add to your special day. The service on the day was unbelieveable, every member of staff from the duty manager to the waiters/waitresses were superb, thank you. You helped make the personal feel we were going for on our day so much more. Nicky, Gary and Martinet we would like to say a special Thank you to as they were outstanding with their service from booking until leaving the hotel they day after the wedding. The food is still being talked about among our family 2 weeks after the wedding.

Gary, Martinet & the duty team on the day were also brilliant. In spite of the drizzly rain, we have had so many comments on the food, accommodation & overall lovely feel to the day. A BRILLIANT DAY AT CISSWOOD
Helen and I live in Sydney Australia which made planning a wedding a bit more difficult than usual. It was therefore even more important for us to have someone that we could rely on 100%. Luckily for us we were dealing with Nicky Haywood and her team. From the first time we spoke to Nicky and then consequently met her, we knew we were in very good hands. She explained everything in detail and was fantastic when it came to working out the timings of each component of our special day. She dealt with everyone on our behalf including the band/ DJ/ room decorators etc…. which meant that Helen and I had much less to worry about. The day itself was perfect. The venue, the food, the service and weather ( very lucky indeed ). Everything went to plan as far as timing goes and this was largely due to Gary and his team. The service was swift and professional. This in turn meant we had 130 very happy guests eating lovely hot food. He then, without us really realising, made the room ready for the entertainment and another 50 or so guests. A number of our guests stayed the night too. All commented on the excellent accommodation and the service they received. In summary, Helen, myself and our guests had a really brilliant day. This was all made possible by Nicky, Gary and the rest of the team at Cisswood. We can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day as perfect as we could have ever imagined. A special thank you to Nicky Hayward, who was a wonderful contact and always very helpful. Just to let you know we did finally get away for our holiday after the ash cloud incident. The evening was such a success I'm sure Cisswood hotel will be the first place we look for future events.

Simply superb
We recently renewed our wedding vows at the Cisswood House Hotel. We hired a medium sized reception room called the 'Ash Suite', where we held the renewal ceremony followed shortly afterwards by dinner and then a small disco'y type affair. We also stayed for 2 nights in the beautiful Garden Suite and hired 3 other bedrooms for our VIP guests (who stayed 1 night). The whole event was magical, Nicky and her team organised absolutely everything - exactly as we wanted it! No detail was too small and nothing was too much trouble. The key staff that looked after us on the day were Gary, Martinet and Emma...they were all brilliant too! The food was perfect and the whole venue / gardens / setting just ideal. The bedrooms were beautiful and all the staff (but especially those mentioned above) were friendly, courteous and helpful. Nicky also introduced us to our celebrant, Father John McCormack (http://www.humanrites.co.uk/), who created and conducted the service. He deserves a special mention as he managed to create a ceremony so much more beautiful and meaningful than we ever thought possible and quite unlike anything any of us had ever experienced before (including our photographer, who generally attends weddings!). We'd highly recommend Cisswood House Hotel to anyone.

Wonderful !!!
Dear Nicky, we just wanted to thank you for making our wedding a very special day and for all your hard work. Your help and patience with all the organising before the wedding was superb. We would also like to ask you to pass on our thanks to all the staff that made our day very special. All our guests commented on how hard all the staff worked and how fantastic the food was. We would personally like to thank Gary and Martin who were exceptional and Emma, for cooking an outstanding wedding breakfast and buffet. The chef the next morning also made an outstanding breakfast that went done very well!!!! The whole thing was run exceptionally well and overseen by Nikki on the day and all our guests were made to feel very special. We want to thank everyone at The Cisswood House Hotel for everything you did and for truly a memorable wedding day. I would definately recommend this venue…… Again, a massive THANK YOU from the new Mr & Mrs Chambers.

Fantastic
We got married in april.From the moment we saw the place we fell in love.Leading upto the day nicky couldnt have been more helpful.The day itself was just perfect the staff were fantastic,food was lovely.We had lots of comments about how good the food,venue and staff were.Couldnt fault anything.Would recommend it to everyone thinking of gatting married in the area.
