Charlton House provides the ideal country house setting for weddings and is recognised as one of the finest wedding venues in England. We can accommodate up to 120 guests for a wedding ceremony and wedding breakfast.

No matter how you decide to celebrate your special day, you can be assured that we will make it a day to remember for the rest of your lives.

We have three fully licensed rooms for your wedding or civil partnership ceremony, each one an idyllic, romantic sanctuary.



Exclusive Use

Make Charlton House your very own home for the most intimate and spectacular wedding for up to 90 guests.  You get total privacy of the main hotel with the restaurant, drawing room areas and all 27 of our individually designed bedrooms. The cost of Exclusive Use of the hotel is based on the intended day of arrival from 3pm until 11am the following morning.

The Orangery and Terrace

Our 18thCentury Style Orangery is perfect for up to 70 Guests.  You will have your own private entrance, large foyer area for your drinks reception and a private terrace with access to the hotel’s gardens.

The Marquee

The marquee is frequently set up for 120 guests.  However, larger weddings can be arranged.  Please contact the hotel for details.  The marquee can be used for both Exclusive Use weddings and Non Exclusive Use weddings.
