Canford School is an idyllic venue for weddings, situated on the bank of the river Stour in the quiet village of Canford Magna. The main building has two rooms licensed for Civil Ceremonies: John`O`Gaunts seating 80, and The Long Gallery seating 120, alternatively The magnificent Wimborne Minster is only 10 minutes drive away.The experienced function team are available to take care of all your concerns from the first meeting to the last dance.As we only host one event per day your party will have exclusive use of all our function rooms with access to our beautifully landscaped grounds.The award winning Head Chef and his team receive endless comments on the quality of their delicious cuisine which is complimented by a selection of beautiful wines from the Canford cellar.Spectacular surroundings, delicious food, fine wine and courteous staff all come together to make your special day unforgettable.

Splendid DayMy Daughters wedding was a wonderful success, the staff worked tirelessly all day to ensure everything went smoothly.The food was an absolute delight,we could not fault anything and would reccommend Canford school to everyone as a premier venue for their BIG DAY.

fantasticOur big day was the best!I would recomend Canford to anyone,the food was great, the staff were really friendly & helpful. Drinks on the lawn, the great hall, the riverbank photos all superb,even my mother-in-law was impressed!!! absolutely fantastic, couldn`t fault the place, wish we could do it all again.

ExcellentEverything was fantastic on our big day. The staff and service was excellent. The wedding breakfast was better than any 5* hotel we have visited. The planning was easy with the management team and the small details I asked for before the day but forgot on the day - all happened due to the efficiencey of the staff. I would highly reccommend this venue.

Absolutely stunning venue for our reception - a perfect dayWe held our wedding reception at Canford School in May 2001. There is a choice of rooms in which to eat or hold civil wedding ceremonies. The rooms and grounds are beautiful (gardens, fountain, by the river)and you are the only people on site all day. The staff were very helpful, friendly and accomodating from our initial meeting through to after the reception. The venue is very popular and gets very booked up as weddings/receptions can understandably not be held during term time. We could not have wished for a better venue and would thoroughly recommend it.
