The setting at Burton Court is simply beautiful
Just wanted to thank you so much for such a delightful day celebrating Katrina & Tim’s wedding yesterday. The setting at Burton Court is simply beautiful and you and your staff created such a welcoming atmosphere. It was fascinating chatting to Mrs Simpson in the grounds and finding out a little of the history and the changes you have made there…. and the food was simply wonderful! It was a day I shall cherish for many years to come.

The Perfect Day
We would like to thank you and your family for allowing us to use Burton Court for our wedding day. We had a gorgeous day!! Thank you Edward for all your help during the planning and also for helping make the day perfect!! We couldn’t have asked for more. The day was so planned but also very relaxed. The house and grounds looked wonderful
Just a little note to say thank you and everybody at Burton Court for helping to make Emily & Bryan’s wedding celebration such a splendid occasion. The house and grounds looked wonderful, I don’t think they could have had a nicer venue, and you and your staff were very kind and attentive – of course we couldn’t have chosen a better day for the weather! The Morris Men had a lovely time and so did all our guests. Emily & Bryan are away on honeymoon but I’m sure will be sending you photos when they get back next week. Thanks again for everything, we would be very happy to recommend your lovely home to anybody for their wedding.

Thank you so much for making our wedding ceremony such a wonderful and memorable event. Burton Court was a really lovely venue and thank you for making us feel so welcome. We really appreciated the local sparkling wine, and also your time taken to meet with us to discuss the finer details of the day, and to answer any questions. All of our guests had a great time and were very complimentary of Burton Court and your lovely grounds, we couldn’t fault it!

We cannot thank you enough
A rather belated note to say a massive thank you for all the time, hard work, and effort that you put into our wedding reception. We cannot thank you enough as the day was more than perfect. The venue looked fantastic and the food was sublime. We really appreciated all the time that you put into the day and the preparation beforehand and we do not think that we would have managed such a wonderful event without your guidance and support. We never felt that anything we asked was a problem and felt very much at ease knowing that you were involved. Would you please pass on our warmest thanks to your catering team for all of their efforts on the day. All of our guests were raving about the food and how great it was. Please also thank your Mother for looking after Viv when she came to do the flowers with lunch and extra bits from the garden. We are told that the wedding is going to be published in the Wye Valley Life magazine in the next few months, so do look out for it. If you would like us to recommend you or be a reference for Burton Court we would be more than happy to do so. A Wonderful Day
Lisa Walker (Brides mother) July 2009 Every one thought Burton Court was a fantastic place to have Charlotte and Chris' wedding. The House looked lovely but also 'lived in' I hate to see these old places looking like something out of ideal homes - so you daren't put a glass down anywhere! We also liked having more than one room available so people who didn't want to dance had somewhere to chat. The laser clay pigeon shooting which Edward recommended was very popular - a wonderful day!

Emma & Andrew Penfold August 2007 Edward organised our wedding day and we liked his attention to detail. Everything went to plan and the marquee was ideal for the wedding breakfast. The great hall was used for the disco and room next door for a casino. The food in the evening was a 'pig on a stick' which is still talked about by some of our friends. The gardens look fantastic and the character of the house provided everything we had hoped for. The caterers recommended by Edward were fantastic (for my mum to comment ' this is the best beef i have ever tasted' says a lot!) and we could not have asked for more. Andrew.

People are still talking about it!
Our wedding was a great success; people are still complimenting us on it and raving about various aspects. The grounds looked wonderful and people obviously enjoyed the Jenga and Croquet. We did have a fantastic day and we think one of the unique points for Burton Court is that it does preserve a "relaxed family home feeling"
