Wonderful wedding!
We had the most amazing day, and were so looked after by everyone at the Buckerell Lodge, we cannot thank them enough. Excellent value for money packages, sweet little garden room for our ceremony, lovely delicious food, nice gardens for our photos, reception room ideal, cosy bedrooms for our family, and a gorgeous feature bedroom for us!

A Perfect Day
After looking at more than a dozen hotels for a civil ceremony, we chose the Buckerell Lodge for our wedding on August 8th 2009. We experienced the highest possible standard of service and felt it to be very good value for money. The Garden Suite with its private garden was perfect for the ceremony and the Buckerell Suite was tastefully laid out for the wedding breakfast followed by an evening celebration for 80 guests. Everyone remarked on the wonderful food, some saying it was the best they had eaten at a wedding. We were given a complimatary room with a king size bed, tastefully decorated and lovely heavy curtains to keep out the early morning light. Several guests stayed overnight and enjoyed a full English breakfast with a wide choice of fruit, cereals and cooked dishes. All the staff, from the duty manager to the receptionists, were unfailingly polite and helpful - nothing was too much trouble and they went out of their way to ensure that we had everything we wanted. Thank you all for a perfect day!

Fabulous Wedding Venue!
Our Daughters wedding reception on 22nd August was absolutely fantastic. The whole day worked like clockwork. The staff were brilliant and very attentive. Many guest stayed and the rooms were spotlessly clean and well equipped. The meal was the best we have had at a wedding. Would highly recommend to anyone for a wedding reception.

Wonderful Wedding Venue
We have just returned home from our daughters wedding reception at this hotel. Thirteen rooms were booked for the extended family and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were spotless. My daughter and severel guests who had travelled a long distance stayed the night prior to the reception and the staff were fantastic allowing her access to the dining room to make sure everything was just the way she wanted it to be. Every one attened to any request with a smile - a rare occurance in many hotels! Special mention must be made of Donna who could not have cared for us better. My room was above the function room where there was another wedding the next evening and we had no problem being moved so we would not be disturbed by music. The standard of food at the reception was exceptional and everything was served piping hot. Another good point is we were not rushed and allowed plenty of time in between courses as we requested. I would definatly recommend anyone thinking of this hotel for a reception or function to go along and have a talk with them. I am quite fussy and we were certainly not disappointed!! Thank you Buckerell for making the whole of my daughters reception so special.

We couldn''t fault you!
We just wanted to say a massive thank you to you and all of the staff who worked on our wedding. The day was perfect the food and drink were fantastic and we all had a really good time. Thanks again and we will definitly be recommending the Buckerell Lodge to everyone!

What can I say! An absolutely fabulous day, the food, atmosphere,service was fantastic. ....All our friends and family commented on how fabulous the food and service was and in such a beautiful setting. I will have no hesitation in recommending your hotel.
