With secluded gardens across 7 acres of land, a magical beck that runs through our grounds and breathtaking views of the Lake District, you have the perfect location for romantic wedding photographs.  You’ll find our lovers’ swing beneath the Broad oak tree quite enchanting, our fountain and pergoda stunning backdrops for your summer wedding.  For winter weddings, just step inside the 19th century house and be charmed by the roaring fire and grand piano in the music room and our restaurant is perfect for the wedding banquet and evening party.

      We just wanted to say a massive thank you for making our day absolutely perfect! The house and garden looked so beautiful and our pictures are perfect too thanks to this!       Just Brilliant
      We just wanted to write and say a huge thank you to you all for making Broadoaks a beautiful place for our wedding day. The reception and our entire stay was perfect from start to finish and you all made such an effort to ensure all ran smoothly. Many guests commented on how beautiful Broadoaks was and the service they received was perfect. We had the happiest day and would not change a thing. We plan to come back to Broadoaks and would recommend it to anyone. A special thank you to Zoe who dealt with all the 'panicy' emails towards the end, you were so reassuring and quick to respond - just brilliant. All left to say is thank you again for your thoughtfulness and hard work - you made our day very special.

      Perfect
      Clare and I wanted to find a venue in the Lake District to get married, we spent many hours searching the internet for a venue that could meet all our criteria namely:- Personal and friendly service from all staff. Stunning scenery. Beautiful venue and rooms. Top class food and wine. A flexible approach to ensure that our say was as we wanted it. A feeling that we were guests and not just customers!! After a number of lesser venues were contacted and some viewed we stumbled on Broadoaks and from the first phone call we knew that we had found the place. The venue is owned by Tracey Robinson with Joe taking the lead as manager doing most of the front of shop work. I must say that he is just always on duty and is one of the most amazing people you could wish to meet. He and his team made our three days so special, nothing was ever a problem and all requests were met with a warm helpful and attentive response. Joe and his team ensured that every part of our stay from our arrival on Friday, our wedding on Saturday and our leaving on Sunday was attended to, to the smallest detail. Joe worked with our witnesses and wedding organisers Hazel and Barry Southern, many thanks for everything They helped arrange flowers, hairdressers, allowed personal touches on table settings, rooms etc, etc. To name and thank the staff:- Dave yeah man Gareth Tracey R Tracey Taran Ryan And of course Molly Even photography became part of the Broadoaks team's role for our three days stay!! As part of my work I travel to many hotels and eat in numerous restaurants around the UK, some of these are big chains and some small individual businesses. Broadoaks leaves them all in its wake.       To all the staff at Broadoaks Thank you for making our wedding weekend 25th and 26th April 2008 a really special weekend. We all had a brilliant time and it all went really smoothly.       Well what can we say - we knew from the moment we first visited Broadoaks our wedding would be fantastic & it was even better than we had ever dreamed, it truly was the most amazing day & the perfect way to start our married life together. Joan thank you for making me look glamorous on the day, that''s the most emotional i''ve ever seen Duncan. Also thanks to all your staff for being fantastic all weekend. There are so many things we could say, but I know when we look back at our wedding we will always have a huge smile.
