Fantastic staff and location
Having researched many hotels and Venues for my wedding reception. I finally chose the Royal Adelaide for several reasons.One of the reasons were the staff. I met with the general manager, Phil, and events manager Lorraine, prior to booking. I have to say, they are quite simply two of the most helpful and professional people I have ever met in the Hotel Industry ( just to quantify that statement, I have stayed in hundreds of hotels for work). At no point did they ever say no to me, working around all requests and finding solutions to problems without complaint. Nothing was too much trouble.The hotel itself is located about a 5 min walk from Windsor centre and 1 minute from The Long walk.
The rooms are modern, comfortable, and very clean.
The catering for our wedding was fantastic, the chef worked wonders for all 80 of my guests, and the 5 course meal was superb. The banquet room is perfect for up to 120 guests, and there is a lovely patio area for alfresco drinks.The bar and restaurant has recently been refurbished and is impressive.The breakfast was of a high standard, and the night after my reception, the hotel sent invites to all my guests to join the new Mr and Mrs for our first Breakfast together. Another nice touch.
I would also like to thank the bar staff, the cleaners, waiters and waitresses for quite simply providing my wife and I with the perfect wedding reception.
The staff at the front desk are fantastic, helpful, knowledgeable and professional.
If you are thinking of having a wedding reception, think no more, simply book the Royal Adelaide. You will not regret it. If you simply want a few nights in Windsor, Id certainly recommend this hotel in an instant.
