Summary information

Can you imagine the elegant Regency Suite with its ornate chandelier and wood panelling adorned with beautiful flowers, romatic candles and tables and chairs matched to your colour scheme or, for the more intimate party the beautiful Haldon Room. Alternatively there is the magnificent Torbay Suite that you can hire for up to 300 guests and is the envy of most other hotels in the town. Set in beautiful gardens overlooking Torbay, you can make the most of this stunning backdrop for some truely memorable photographs.

      Our wedding day was made so special by the brilliant staff at The Imperial Hotel. The venue was stunning, with lovely areas for photos and the day ran so smoothly. Fantastic attention to detail and an overall amazing day. We couldn't have asked for better.

      Fantastic venue and location, limited flexibility
      Our marriage in 2002 used the Haldon & Regency rooms, both of which are superb. The staff were generally good but we did feel there was room for them to be more flexible with regard to menus etc. Also, we were told it would be possible for one of our disabled guests to join us for photos but it wasn't and she was abandoned. The location is fantastic and worth using for that alone but I think I might be more forceful if I used them again to ensure I got what I wanted!
