With 450 years of History, where better to celebrate you’re Wedding than in the Regency splendour of Brighton's oldest and best loved hotel. Suited to Civil Ceremonies and weddings of all sized, we are flexible to your requirement. Whether you require a small intimate occasion for up to 26 guests in our charismatic Wine Cellars dating back to 1559 and entwined with the smuggling past times of Brighton, or grand gatherings of up to 180 guests in our famous Paganini Ballroom we can tailor to your needs.

The Old Ship Hotel has four individually decorated rooms licensed room for Civil Wedding Ceremonies. Our Regency Suite is the largest of the rooms, seating up to 110 people. The Regency Suite is a tradition room dating back 450 years is grade II listed. With elegant period features such as the ornate ceiling and large stain glass windows it is ideal for creating an opulent environment. The Gresham Suite is a bright and airy room, decorated in neutral colours and high ceilings, perfect for ceremonies for up to 60 guests. Alternatively we have The Tudor Suite, extremely cosy for winter weddings with Tudor beams and a stone fireplace, romantically lit by candlelight seats 70 guests. However if you are looking to tie the knot whilst overlooking the famous promenade, we have our Fecamp Lounge. One of Brighton’s few sea facing function rooms, we can seat 50 of your friends and family to celebrate your marriage whilst enjoying the views.
