Dear Laura, Owen and the fantastic team at Athelhampton, Thank you very much for everything in the lead up to and on our wedding day. We had an absolutely wonderful day and we felt so relaxed with your seamless team operation. Our family and friends were blown away by the beautiful setting and everyone enjoyed the choice of food and flowing fine wines. Laura's comment that it was 'quite loud' while guests were eating said it all- everyone was in high spirits! We are so happy with all the arrangements and now have plenty of reasons to return to Athelhampton House and Gardens for years to come. It was a pleasure to meet you all, many thanks again. Fantastic Wedding Day Oct 2010
We had the most amazing wedding day at Athelhampton in October. The staff were amazing and the day ran amazingly smoothly. It is a beautiful location with a lovely ceremony room and dining room. The gardens are beautiful and we have some very memorable photos. The food was amazing, we have had great feedback from our guests and everyone had such a great day!! The entire day as well as all of the planning and preparation with Laura and Owen leading up to the day was perfect!

Exceeded our expectation
Athelhamptom is a wonderful wedding venue. Wedding team Laura and Owen keep the plans running smoothly in a stress free manner prior to the wedding. On the day they were adaptable to last minute changes, professional and relaxed. The food was excellant, freshly produced, locally sourced and cooked to perfection. The great hall looks magical when lit with candles and provides a fabulous drinks venue. We used candle-light in the dining room which made an intimate environment and the reflection the glass atrium added to the effect. As it was winter we didn't use the gardens but they are stunning. We would have no reservation in recommending Athelhampton!

Lovely venue, friendly staff, delicious food
We held our wedding reception at Athelhampton in October 2009. The staff were brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, venue was lovely,gardens very well kept and the Grand Hall was lovely with fire blazing. We had exclusive use of the grounds which was lovely for guests (esp kids who could run off some energy!).The food was delicious and good value for money (as was venue). Despite running a little late with our timings,staff didn't stress or rush us and were very accomodating. A big thank you to Laura and Owen for making our day run so smoothly. Our guests were very complimentary about venue and food and we had a wonderful day - thank you Athelhampton! Mr & Mrs Guest.

Absolutley amazing venue with outstanding service.
This a stunningly beautiful venue and the gardens are simply second to none. I loved the privacy we had having the venue as our own and the flowing fountains made it even more special. The photo opportunities were endless, even our photographer was sorry to leave! Our day ran so beautifully and seamlessly thanks to Owen & Laura''s flawless planning and organising. We received countless compliments from our guests commenting on how smoothly it all ran, how great the food and wine was and the beauty of the grounds. The waiting staff also did an excellent job. It could not have been a more perfect day.
