A Big Thankyou!

We would like to take the time to let you know how happy we were with the service we received from the staff & the hotel on our wedding day.
Our biggest thank you goes to Alison Lambden. Alison has always been very efficient & helpful from the 1st time we came to see her to book our wedding, through to the wedding day. She was always at the end of the phone answering my silly questions, nothing was ever too much trouble for her. We like to think that Alison became more of a friend to both of us than a wedding coordinator & that no doubt is down to the way she professionally executes her duties for the hotel, we are actually missing our coffee & chats with her now the wedding is over.
On the day of the wedding we could not fault the service of the staff, all our guests commented on the helpfulness of everybody, from bar staff, waiters/waitresses & reception.
The meal was fantastically presented, served hot & all at the same time that the top table received their food, this was down to good preparation & timing of the kitchen with enough staff to deliver food to the room.
For our evening reception we wanted a band & an indian buffet, both of these additional requests were accommodated with no fuss or questions, we learnt after that one of our elder guests was not happy to eat curry & the kitchen went out of their way to make sandwiches which was much more to her taste.
The following morning a private dining room was arranged for us all to have breakfast together, this we thought was wonderful.
All of the little extras mentioned, just show how efficient the service of the hotel is & the importance that you & Alison give ''to the customer experience''
We both have no hesitation in recommending the Alton House Hotel for any function or just a night or two away.
