The once family owned Manor House of Aldermaston has been transformed into a wonderful wedding venue. Combined with a fabulous venue, affordable prices and experienced friendly staff, Aldermaston Manor will make your wedding day second to none. Over the years, we have built up a reputation for exemplary food, fine wine and excellent service. Occupying an imposing but secluded position, its impressive red brick facade towers over sweeping lawns and ancient parkland in the picture postcard village of Aldermaston. The Jacobean oak paneled Library offers the perfect setting for your civil wedding/partnership ceremony.

Summary information

The Library can accommodate 80 seated guests and a further 20 standing. The magnificent and richly decorated room which dates back to 1636 is ideal for such events. The Registrar can be contacted on 01635 48133. The Manor House prides itself on the quality and variety of the cuisine on offer to guests and the Chef is delighted to cater for special requirements. There are 33 individually planned and decorated en-suite bedrooms, each one equipped with a flat screen television, direct dial telephone, hair-dryer, trouser press, radio alarm clock and tea & coffee making facilities. Leisure facilities include tennis, putting, croquet, snooker, steam room and gym, so relaxation is never a problem. Alternatively, guests can unwind with a stroll through the extensive grounds. The main banqueting suite holds 140 for a sit down meal, and 200 for eveing receptions. The Library is ideal for more smaller, more intimate wedding breakfasts. In addition, we will be delighted to advise on any aspect of planning the Reception and our Duty Manager will act as Master of Ceremonies and be on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly on the day.

      My daughter and her husband got married on the 27 November 2010 here. It is a wonderful venue and very well organised, the staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble. I was impressed that the kitchen managed to keep the meal piping hot despite the freezing cold weather outside. The rooms are comfortable and the grounds beautiful whatever time of year it is.

      Wonderful Day
      Hi, i dont need to go into detail but i had my wedding here in July 2010 and it was just amazing, food was wonderful, staff helpful, grounds made it a dream day

      The perfect wedding venue
      This is the perfect wedding venue! The building is beautiful and the staff couldn't be more helpful.The food was amazing and exactly what we wanted. We had the best wedding day ever and Carolyn and the staff here made sure everything ran smoothly and that we had everything we could ever want. They truly make you feel very special. I have had no end of compliments from guests about the venue and I would happily recommend it to my friends!

      Wedding perfection!
      The manor has everything you'll need for a perfect wedding; romantic setting, stunning ceremony room, great gardens, flexible and attentive staff, good food, various packages & they cater to bespoke weddings. And enough bedrooms for your guests so you have the place to yoursleves. Bliss!

      A wonderful day in lovely surroundings
      My daughter's wedding was a huge success due to the hard work and attention to detail provided by the staff at Aldermaston Manor. We found them to be flexible and willing to do something out of the ordinary (rather than just sell us a standard package) which made the whole day work so well. The library is a lovely room for a ceremony. Thoroughly recommended.

      Made our day really special

      Perfect venue, fantastic service, very relaxed
      We got married in April 2010 and couldn't have asked for more. The venue is truly beautiful but what made it perfect was the staff at Aldermaston. They were extremely helpful, unobtrusive and everything went exactly as had been discussed. We couldn't have been any happier.

      Amazing venue & Staff
      We got Married in March 2010 and Aldermaston Manor made it into the perfect day. The venue is amazing (it rained but there are loads of photo oppurtunities inside), the staff work so hard to make everything run smoothly, food & drink brilliant and from the 1st time you look around it feels like you are their only wedding. All at an amazing competitive price. Would definately recommend. Thank you Carolyn and the rest of the team at Aldermaston Manor.

      Professional friendly service made the day special
      The building and location are beautiful, they are clean and well maintained. But you know that when you book. What came as an absolute joy was the sheer professionalism, commitment and care from every member of staff. All gave 100%, took pride in their job, and made us feel that this was a special wedding. My daughter got married August bank holiday, there were 3 weddings that weekend, but it felt as if we were the only one. The bride, groom, all guests including Grandparents and young children got all the support they needed. Everything went smoothly. The registrar was great, and the prices were reasonable. I recommend this venue for your special day.

      Fantastic venue for a winter wedding
      We got married at the Manor House, in Aldermaston in Jan 2009. It was a perfect winter wedding venue with its large log fires in the entrance reception, oak panelled library with stained glass windows and beautiful carved wooden stairway which led to the many rooms for our guests. All of the staff were extremely helpful and the food was fantastic. Having the whole venue to ourselves at no extra charge made the venue extremely good value for money.

      Perfect location, fantastic staff, memorable day.
      We got married at the end of August and have to compliment the Manor House and all its staff for the fantastic service they provided. From the moment we set foot there on the morning of the wedding every need was taken care of and we were made to feel special throughout the day. Food, bedrooms, location, staff - all were brilliant and we would definitely recommend Aldermaston Manor as a perfect Wedding Venue.

      Amazing venue, fantastic staff, stressfree day
      We got married on 9th May at Aldermaston Manor and were very impressed by the way the staff handled our day, we felt the whole day was stress free due to excellent staffing. The venue is stunnign and all our guests though so too.
