Thank you John for that lovely speech and kind words,

It's wonderful, how many of our family and friends, have made the time and effort,  to join us on our special day,  especially those, who have travelled hundreds of miles to be here.  We can't thank you enough for the lovely cards and gifts, and we truly hope today is as enjoyable for you, as it is special to us. So on behalf of my wife and me,  we thank you all.

Mum and dad, I want to thank you for everything you have done for me over the years.  Most importantly, supporting me, when I told you I was moving to Edinburgh.  You've always been there for me,  and although it isn't hard, you've always loved and treated Lisa like one of the family.

I want to thank Anne and John for raising a kind, beautiful and intelligent daughter, (Does that sound about right?)  For giving us your blessing to marry,  And for welcoming me, into your home 6 years ago,  So Lisa and I could begin our lives together.

As a token of our appreciation, we have some gifts for you.

Without the love and generosity, shown by our newly formed in-laws, we wouldn't be here today.  Please stand, raise a glass and join me in a toast to our parents! To our parents!

There are 4 people we would like to thank now for making today extra special.

For their lovely readings earlier, we want to thank Sara and Nicole, and also Colin and Fiona, for generously organising the coach that brought you all here.  We have some gifts for you all, if you'd all like to come up.

I'm sure you all agree, the bridesmaids look amazing.  Thanks to the 2 Claire's and Kristina for being there for Lisa through the ups and downs of today,  and the past few months of planning her hen weekend in York. Which in my opinion was more stressful than planning this wedding.

And of course not forgetting our Niece, and flower girl Daisy, who looks adorable as ever. Speaking of adorable I want to thank Keyworth Cainy and Gaz,  We've all been best mates now for the last 10 15 years,  And I'm honoured you're all here as my ushers. You've all done a brilliant job so far today.  We have some gifts if you'd like to come up. If you're gonna be sick later, I've got you this, (sick bag) so you don't have to use the sink… I want to thank my best mate Nige, and favourite brother Tom for agreeing to be my best men.  Lisa bet me a tenner that Tom would lose the rings, But I knew you wouldn't…… Nige, you organised an excellent stag weekend in Brussels, which I'm told I thoroughly enjoyed.  And I even wore a skirt…… sorry a kilt. We went on a boozy beer tour with our Belgian guide Yan, so a special thanks to him. Not that Nige will remember much about that.

And In case you're feeling tired later, I've got you a souvenir that you can rest your head on. (Give cushion) Seriously you've both been tremendous today,  Cheers boys.  Finally to my new wonderful wife.

Despite your obsession with the proclaimers and Hawaii 5 0,  and owning far too many cuddly toys,  I couldn't be happier standing here, In front of our family and friends as your husband.

I can't believe It's 8 years since we first met, at the romantic 2 star, ‘Ibiza Mar Hotel, On the romantic resort Of San Antonio Ibiza.

I wish I could say, you looked as beautiful, the night we first met, as you do today.  But I was too busy cleaning broken glass out of your foot to remember… You look absolutely stunning, and you took my breath away when you walked down the aisle. (Surprisingly on time/ minutes late) You're the kindest, most honest and selfless person I've known,  And I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you.  I love you to bits, and I promise to tell you this every single day.

It's also brilliant; you're sorting a TV for the boys,  so we can watch the champions league final later.
