The Essentials to your Emergency Bridal Kit

So, you will want your smile to stay shiny, your make-up to look flawless and your body to feel and remain fresh through out your wedding day. You don’t need to pack your entire dressing rooms worth of cosmetics in order to achieve this but the following essentials should make your big day a little easier on you.
A quality lip gloss or lip stick should last for several hours, but topping it up every now and then in your compact mirror or in the powder room will keep your kissable lips shining through out the day and into the evening. Your favourite waterproof mascara, and if you are an eyeliner girl then both are important to keep your eyes sparkling for the photographer. A pocket packet of tissues for the speeches will most certainly come in handy, and a mint to pop in your mouth after dinner will keep your mouth feeling fresh and confident.
A handbag size packet of baby wipes will be useful for keeping your body fresh, and a miniature deodorant or sprits of your wedding perfume will keep your aura glowing. Because you will be talking a lot through out the day and taking in a lot of memories you might feel a little de-hydrated. So a bottle of water and a few headache tablets slipped into the side of your kit won’t go a miss and its better to have them than to wish you did. Whatever hair-do you are going to have, your hair will more than likely need a re-hold through out the day, so a mini bottle of hairspray is a necessity. Your bridesmaids might need a nail file to smarten up a jagged edge or unexpected broken nail which always seems to happen right when you don’t want it too, and a sewing kit for any last minute dress dramas will also be good back up. To top it off, a few bobby pins and some extra dress tape (if you are using it with your gown) should complete your kit and leave you feeling stress free and wonderful through out the day.
Your maid of honour or bridesmaids can help you collate all of the products for your kit and can even look after it for you through out the wedding day. Speaking to friends who have recently been married might give you an idea of what else you might need just in case of that emergency and checking the contents of your kit the night before the wedding will leave you feeling confident and ready for the big day ahead.
